Anyone stayed at Residence Inn LBV on Marbella Palms Court?

HI All,

I am a DVC member who rarely stays off-property. I have just booked a 2 bedroom suite at RI on Marabella Palms for Feb 2003. I am really nervous cuz I am never sure of the quality off property but with 8 people in high season it eats up too many of those precious points to stay at a Disney hotel. Can anyone calm my fears? thanks Cindyf

Haven't been to the boards in ages, but did see your post today. We stayed at the RI in February and absolutely loved the 2 bedroom suite. We had 2 qeen beds, 1 king bed and a sleeper sofa. Since there were only 3 of us we had plenty of room.

The living/kitchen area is adequate but not overly spacious-- especially for 8. However, staying in the room is not usually what people do at Disney!!

The pool area was nice and the breakfast buffet was quite good. They don't change the selections much, but there is enough variety so we didn't feel "bored" with the food.

There have been lots of people who have stayed there. Don't know if the search feature works, but you could try that for more info.

We stayed there a year ago when it first opened.

Not to worry, this RI is an excellent value.

Quiet location, comfy beds.

However, it is gonna be a little tight with 8 people.

How many adults in your party? You might be better off with a 2 br and a studio room.

thanks for your response. WE did request a two bedroom with 2 queens in each bedroom and that was confirmed . We have 5 adults and 3 kids. We are close family so probably will be ok with the close quarters as long as we have 2 bathrooms!!!cindyf.

Is the pool area nice? Did it take long to get in and out of the parks? I am used to disney transportation since we usually stay on site.
