Just wondering if anyone has stayed here and what you thought.

Thanks,
Jenny

My friend stayed there and LOVED it! She has 4 children and had the best time - felt it was closer to Universal too! Have fun!

My friend stayed here and LOVED it! She has 4 children from 8 to 14 yrs and it was great for her. They also wanted to do Universal and felt it was closer to that park.

We have stayed there for the past two years through our timeshare exchange. We really like it, themed pool, 5 slides (there really isn't a wave pool) Shipwreck Sally's rest. right there at the pool. They have activities bingo, tye-dye, art for kiddies. We think it's nice and the price we paid per night for the additional nights was really nice ($79) to get a sep. bedroom & full kitchen. We don't spend a whole lot of time there though anyway. We also have thought that the slides are great for our DD (6), but are pretty small so don't expect a real water park. They also have Doughnuts, bagels, and toast, juice & coffee at one of the pools each morning. That being said we are looking for a new place to stay this year, but I need a reasonable rate for the extra nights so we might just stay here again (one of the other exchanges has quoted me $279 per additional night ouch!). Beware of the timeshare sharks they are everywhere at the Likki Tikki, but just tell them a strong NO and they will leave you alone!
Good Luck!

We stay at Liki Tiki Village Resort every year (not this year--we're staying on Disney). The apartments are spacious, clean and lovely. We really like the grounds (kid friendly). Three pools...the biggest being the kiddie pool. My advice is to get a room in the 1000 buildings and up because they are the newer units. The two story apartments are the older units. At the time of booking you can put in your room preferences. Luau and karaoke everynight. :)

WE stayed there with my parents, brother, SIL and their 3 kdis. We had two units. Everyone loved it! the units are nice, two bedrooms, whirlpool tub (on a rainy day the 5 yo and 7 yo went swimming in the tub). There is a playgound, it is fine. The pools are great. They have a zero entry area, and a couple of smaller slides, not really a waterpark, more like fun slides. There are activities for the kids in the afternoon, crafts etc. Everyone with us really liked it. (In fact, my DH chose that over an onsite hotel this year)

All these comments on this thread seem really good compardd to other threads I have read.
I am stopping here in April, so any advise you can pass on would be greatly appreciated.
I have been to WDW before but didn't drive. This time I am driving, so any hints/tips on best time sto travel/ directions, honest anything you would have done differently if you knew.

Thanks
