Anyone stay in AKL Studio - value or standard view?

We'll be down to our last few points so won't be able to afford the Savannah View. What has been the experience of staying in a Value or a Standard View?

I think that the earliest booking for value studios is in December. We have one booked for a Saturday night then.

We stayed at the AKL with a pool view several years ago-I would guess that's a standard view? The balcony was nice sized and we liked the view-the giraffes were off to the right and It's such a beautiful pool we found it relaxing-this was when DVC offered free nights if you booked so many nights and toured DVC. I think you'll be fine with the view-there's so many nice places to sit inside and outside the lodge.
