Anyone stay at Vero before/after a DCL cruise?

Wondering if this is feasible. We may cancel our VB visit next month and I really want to visit so is it close to PC? We could stay at VB the night before our cruise in Sept if it is reasonable.

VB is on my list of DVC's for 2006 but I cant seem to squeeze it in without disjointing our trips. DH hates disjointed! LOL!
