Anyone stay at the Catamaran Resort in San Diego?

Its a great deal on Getawaytoday.com right now. It looks like a fun place on the website, and tripadvisor had some good reviews. I thought I would ask the DIS folks though. I trust you all more.

You have probably already made up your mind by now, since this post is old- but yes, we stayed there last year and loved it. We had a room facing the water (they upgraded us free when we arrived since they weren't full).

The food at the hotel was expensive but good (We love the restaurant called The Mission, that is just down the street from the hotel- good prices and the best food ever). The birds were really cute, the pool was nice, grounds are pretty and the location is great.

They rent bikes, segways, kayaks etc- but it is all pricey, but it would be a good place to ride your bikes around mission bay along the water.

Have fun if you go! We got it for a deal and haven't seen it listed for a good price since, but we'd love to go back. We are actually going back this weekend, but staying somewhere else this time.

We have stayed there on numerous occasions and we love it! My Ds 7 loved the free arcade and the pool my DD loved the bird show and the ducks wondering the grounds.They used to offera free ferry ride around the bay(not sure if they still do) I hope you have a lovely time there and enjoy it as much as we do We are actually booked in there for a few day in Nov
