Hi everyone!

Has anyone stayed at Bluegreen's The Fountain's resort? DH and I are looking at staying there this December and would like to know more about it. I know someone sent me a PM about it before, but I accidentally deleted it. Thanks so much! :teeth:

We own through Bluegreen in Gatlinburg and love to use bonus nights at The Fountains. Here is what the website says about the units.

"Our richly appointed two bedroom apartment villas, combined with an array of enjoyable amenities, offer a vacation lifestyle that is unsurpassed. Fully equipped kitchens, private screened balconies, large screen TV’s, and CD stereo systems are just some of the features offered in most of our villas. Our wonderful amenities include a 6,000 square foot indoor/outdoor pool, a whirlpool spa, a children’s pool and playground, volleyball, tennis and basketball courts and a 20,000 square foot clubhouse. The clubhouse offers an array of fun activities including video games, ping pong, billiard tables and a snooker parlor."

If you go to the website you can see actual layouts and resort pictures. http://www.bluegreenonline.com/index.php3?choice=DP&propertyid=511

The drive is a very easy one and we find the pool to be one of our favorites (it's an indoor/outdoor combo). Let me know if I can offer any further help.

Thank you so much! Should I request a certain room or area? Also, how close it is to Disney World? Thanks! :teeth:

We stayed there in 98 so it's been awhile and they've added a whole new building (named Fountains II, I think) and improved the pool since then. I was looking at the book a few yrs ago and wondering why there was different points for the new building and found out they fit 8 people in the room instead of 6 like the old building.

We loved the fountains. The master bedroom seemed huge with it's own tv & phone and jacuzzi tub right in the room and private bathroom. The other bedroom had 2 twins and the bathroom 2nd was next to it. The living room/dining room were combined but divided with the sofa. I really liked that the balconies were screened so I didn't worry about the kids falling off. I never tried the pool but could see it from the room, but like I said they've made changes since then so not sure if that one is still there now. The only problem I had was the washer/dryer in the room were the small stacked ones and it took forever to dry the clothes....still better then no washer/dryer and they were free. It's pretty close to Disney, maybe 15 minutes and I think we went past Universal too. After the 1st day I had no problems finding it when the guys would listen to my directions (see told ya to turn left back there :teeth: ).

We stayed at the Fountains this past January and loved it! They are doing some construction so I would ask for a room on the lake side of the building. I think we were in building #3 - lakeside and it was very nice! :sunny:

So glad to hear all of the positive things about The Fountains! We own Bluegreen through Harbour Lights (Myrtle Beach), but when we purchased our resale, there were two days of Disney tickets attached to our package. We'll definitely be checking out The Fountains in the future! (But, only after our trip to the Pono Kai!) :flower:
