Has anyone stayed at Beach Quarters on Daytona Beach? Just curious about reviews, etc...

No, but we've stayed here http://www.beachcomerinn.com a few times. It's very reasonable and nice...not spotless like the Disney resorts, but small, quaint, casual, easy to park, kid and barefoot friendly, great staff...we mainly stay there because it's cheap.

On the recommendation of someone from this board, we're staying here http://www.oceanwalk.com when we go in September. Dh is going to do a lot of fishing, so I wanted somewhere to stay that was more centrally located so that ds and I could walk to restaurants, shops, etc. and the pool area looks wonderful with a lazy river and water slide! It's a lot more expensive, but the suites have washers and dryers. (The bad reviews I've seen on tripadvisor were all from people who had time shares and were given terrible rooms. I think, they give the best rooms to newbies so that they can try and sell them the timeshares.)

Hope this helps. Also for restaurants, we like Parkes and The Wreck.

Snoopymom,
We are booked at Oceanwalk from August 15-19. Right now there is a summergetaway special where the hotel is only 109 a night during the week and I think 119 on the weekend, if you are not already booked check it out or find out about it. I've never stayed there but have seen it and it looks so nice, after 2 years of wanting to stay here i finally am(they've been booked on previous visits).
