I've been working on mine for a couple of months now. Of course, it may need some tweaking when the October park hours come out, but, for now, I'm basing it on previous years' hours and EMHs. Its me(44), DH(43), DS(17), and DD(14). Heres what I have right now:
Friday, Oct. 2 - Arrive
early-mid afternoon and check in at AS Sports; possibly hit Epcot (evening EMH) for a little while and have dinner in park or on Boardwalk
Saturday, Oct. 3 - Animal Kingdom 'til 6:00 p.m.; dinner in park or resort restaurant
Sunday, Oct. 4 - Magic Kingdom; dinner at resort restaurant (O'hana, 1900 Park Fare, WCC) then possibly back to MK
Monday, Oct. 5 - Universal Studios/IOA (1st time); dinner at resort restaurant (see above)
Tuesday, Oct. 6 - DH and DS playing golf; DD and I at DHS for non-ride attractions, i.e. Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Magic of Disney Animation, One Man's Dream (we may have to check out TSM just in case we aren't able to later that day!
); DH and DS join us at DHS after golf for rides; dinner at 50s PT Cafe
Wednesday, Oct. 7 - Sleep in; AK PM EMH; dinner in park or resort restaurant before entering park
Thursday, Oct. 8 - Universal Studios/IOA; MNSSHP (another 1st
; dinner at resort restaurant around 4-5:00 p.m. before entering park for MNSSHP
Friday, Oct. 9 - DHS; lunch/dinner in park
Saturday, Oct. 10 - Epcot; dinner in park or resort restaurant
One thing I don't particularly like about this itinerary is spending our last day in Epcot. Nothing against that park - its just not our kids' favorite. I thought about switching Friday and Saturday, but touringplans says to avoid EP on that Friday and DHS on that Saturday. I guess I could just let the kids decide what we're doing those last 2 days?
Something else I'm thinking about changing is Wednesday and Thursday. We could do Universal on Wednesday followed by a few hours in AK for PM EMH and sleep in on Thursday before doing MNSSHP. I really would like to experience AK PM EMH, though. Its one of our favorite parks and we've never been there after 4-5:00 p.m. (it closes at 9:00 p.m. that night).
Obviously, I haven't nailed down our dining yet. I'm trying to get the parks lined out first.
Any thoughts?
