Anyone sell Avon?

I'm thinking about starting to sell avon, anyone else do this? Any advise?

I sell, and really enjoy it. . You get a "whats new" book with items that you getr to try before they go on sale. Its a great way to show people what you offer.

I mainly sell to friends and family. Im not in it to make loads of money, just enough for extras (we have 5 kids). you get a good discount on products.

Start small, self advertise. I dont know if you work out of the home. I do so I put some in the work room. I give a stack to my friend who works elsewhere (shes my runner,I give her a discount)iI also give the Mark books to DD14 who gives them to her friends.

If you are just starting out I suggest just giving them to good friends and close neighbors, family.

Dont be pushy when handing out books, Be kind "I just started selling AVON, and would like to give you my books, maybe there is something you would find of intrest, if you have any questions give me a call."

Some people GO,GO,GO! the put ads in papers. I on the other hand sell to who I want. Then they usually say that someone else would be interested in a book.

I sell Avon and I love it! It only take $10 bucks to start up which they even refund you about your second order unlike many other direct selling companies. There is a wide variety of products to offer your customers. And again you get nice product discounts for yourself while earning some extra cash. I too have a 15 yr old daughter that is my helper and she gives her friends the Mark Maglogs. For any other info please feel free to PM me I'd be happy to answer any other questions.

I'm a seller too - but not really in it to make money.. I sell to my DD's MIL (she likes to buy things for our DGD) and the woman across the street from my DD.. Otherwise it's basically for the things I need/want that I can get at a good discount..

Some areas are really flooded with people selling Avon, so you might want to take that into consideration.. However, it's so inexpensive to get started, it certainly wouldn't hurt to give it a try..
