Anyone seen construction at AKL yet?

It seems that if they're planning to open AKV in September, they'd better be getting busy! So has anyone seen any signs of activity yet?

We were there 3 weeks ago and didn't see one thing and I was looking pretty HARD

The September opening will encompass the 5/6th floor rooms inside the present AKL building and that work has been ongoing for a number of months now. Not much to see, since the area is pretty well secured from unauthorized visitors.

The standalone building, set to open in 2009, is currently beginning it's construction and preliminary groundwork has started - but still has plenty to time to be ready on schedule!

I took a lot of pictures of some kind of work being done over by the end of the parking area. As you exit the service area and look to the right something is going on there. Extremly large area with the dirt dug up, almost looked like a road. I was told it probably wasn't DVC. I haven't been able to figure out posting pictures. I might be able to e-mail them to anyone that may be interested. I did manage to get two in a photo bucket account but couldn't get them onto the DIS . Susan
