Those who have traded into DVC using II...has anyone seen an II trade into DVC during March? Does Disney choose the date they give back to Interval and always put the traded units in the less busy months like September, October, November, Jan, May, etc.? Just wondered what your experience has been. Thanks!!

Yes, but it was Early March when Easter was in April. I've also seen fourth of July and Thanksgiving as well as all during the summer. Just there are far more in the off season time.

Full kitchen Saturday, March 05 2005/
Saturday, March 12 2005

I think it was last year I saw a fourth of July at OKW but didn't take it because I don't like to travel at busy times.

Diane, I own at BWV and BCV but I still trade into DVC twice a year. I have to have that Disney fix.

Keep in mind that the only listings that show up on the Interval World website (for I.I. members who have a comparable week) are those which were not used to fulfill an ongoing request. That's why DVC listings at WDW almost never show up on the Interval World website. But that doesn't mean that nobody ever trades into DVC.

Unfortunately, for people trying to trade into DVC, it's hard to know what DVC deposits into I.I. If DVC were a conventional timeshare, DVC owners would reserve strong weeks and deposit them into I.I. to maximize their trading power. But, in the case of DVC, Member Services determines what weeks are deposited (although I would assume there is a contract between DVC and I.I. that would prevent DVC from depositing only the least desirable weeks).

Thanks for all your replies. We also own at BCV, but I like the option of being able to trade into DVC through II to get more time at Disney off season. I was just curious about how Disney handles the March timeframe (since that's definitely not off season) and knew we had some experienced DVC/II owners that participate in these boards. Thanks again for your help.
