I rented the Illusionist and fell asleep with 20 minutes left in the movie. How does it end??? The last thing I remember seeing was Edward Norton bringing Sophia back for the first time in the theater.

Do you really want me to tell you? You could just fast forward to the part you fell asleep at.

Honestly I think your nap was a better choice. But I really couldn't tell you how it ends since I lost interest.

I took the movie back all ready, Just curious as to how the ended it.

I fell asleep at about that point as well. Dh said that he got the girl in the end. They made it look like she had died, and they went away and lived happily ever after.

They faked her death and made it look like the crown prince killed her. They escaped away together. Paul Giamatti eventually figured it out but couldn't do anything about it.

You can try moviepooper.com, which has the endings of most modern movies.

If you want to see a really great "magician" story rent "The Prestige"! It was far, far better than "The Illusionist" IMO.

I found myself thoroughly enjoying the "Illusionist". I watched it three times, and now own it. It was well written, the acting was well played out, and the scenery! The scenery was beautiful!
By the end, I was like, *jaw droppage* THAT'S how they did it?

I'm watching it again, between studies. Well worth my time. I don't see why it is so disliked.

We enjoyed "The Illusionist" very much. Gorgeous cinematography too.

Looking forward to "The Prestige."

I liked it a lot as well. Maybe not as much as The Prestige, but I still really enjoyed it.

I totally agree. The Prestige has made its way onto my list of favorite movies. I thought it was fantastic!

I also thought the Illusionist was a great movie. I saw it as less of a magician movie and more as a class distinction movie and a "stick it to the man" movie.
Now, if you really want to fall asleep or have a WTH moment, rent "The Science of Sleep."
