Ugh, just show us the Christmas tape already!!

I have to admit, I just assumed it was a gold digger thing. But from the videos/pictures, it sounds like he really was happy. And it's not as if she went after him, he's the one who showed up in the strip club and saw her. In the end, I think he was a rich old man looking for some enjoyment in the last years of his life and it seems like she gave him that. I think it's very plausible that he wanted to her have quite a bit once he passed on but we'll see. I'm sure she did take advantage of the fact that he was rich, but as long as he was happy

I can't wait to see what he says in the tape.

I started to watch, but fell asleep. I've seen another report, though. I've always felt bad for her. He really enjoyed her company, and if he wanted to marry her, well it's his money and life. She did make him happy. Everyone keeps getting hung up on the "blond bimbo" things. She may be, well, "unique", but it's her life. Also, he didn't leave her the majority of his money. He only left her a portion of what he aquired DURING their marriage. What he had before, all went to his greedy son. Sure, it's millions, but he was worth billions.

I've always hoped she'd win. It's not about *her*, it's about a woman getting her fair share during a divorce. How many couples get divorced every year and the woman was either a stay at home wife/mom, or made a small fraction of her husband salary. If marriage is truely 50/50 (in the eyes of the law), then the woman should get 50% of what was aquired during the marriage. Sadly, though it is the 21th century, the unequal split generally dosn't happen.

I didn't see the entire show (I was in and out of sleep since the baby was up the night before)
BUT I saw enough to hear that he GRADUATED FROM YALE and TAUGHT all about wills and estates...
and he was only giving her a portion of what he made duyring the marriage...

although all the publicity from the drama is definately keeping her in the limelight....


this mystery tape thing is ridiculous too....

I've never understood why the son didn't just settle with her. He has probably spent more on his lawyers. I think there was enough money to go around. Greed, not a pretty word.

I had a very different take on the PT show.
She very much looked like a gold digger to me.
I was personally disgusted on the video when they showed that very provacative (almost naked) picture she has made of herself in the "Santa" suit in front of her young son.
I truly think she is an idiot that has a few hangers-on that want a cut of the money so they keep the lawsuits flowing.
Obviously Howard Marshall knew exactly what he was doing in not leaving her anything in the will. I had never heard his law background and the trusts he had set up before he even met her. He did not change or modify his trusts or wills after he met her as well.
Also, I did not know that he had a previous mistress as well while he was married. I have no doubt personally that if his 2nd wife had not died Nicole would be the new mistress and this would be a moot point.

Disclaimer: It has taken me almost an hour to finish this post w/ so many interruptions so I may be repeating or disputing somone else.
