Anyone rented a DVC reservation.

I am new to DVC.

I have a reservation for rent at the moment and would like to speak to someone who has had a reservation and ended up having to rent it.

Just wondering what way it works with payment & giving details of the reservation.

Yes, I have had to rent my reservation at BCV's for my husband's Birthday. Our niece decided to get married and asked him to Walk her down the aisle. I posted it On Redweek.com due to the rent/trade rules. I rented it, I have a contract, require half down, balance due at 60 day prior to travel. I am thinking about raising this to 90 days. My points were not bankable, it was use them or lose them.

Our niece canceled her wedding after I rented my reservation, We took a cruise. Life is funny sometimes.
