Anyone rent a 15 Pass Van from Alamo before

Has anyone ever rented a 15 Passenger van from Alamo before. The group we are going with have one reserved. (I am rented my own SUV) I am concerned that they might get there and there not be any. What could they get upgraded to? Tell me about your experiences

We had a minivan reserved once but they had none when we arrived. We were given the 15 passenger van instead. Lots of seats but we could barely fit our luggage for 3 adults and 3 kids.

Our next trip we have planned is for a large group. I've been looking at 2 mininvans instead of the large van. Price wise it will be cheaper and there would be more flexability when our group wants to go their seperate ways.

We just rented a 12 passenger from Budget to go to the port for our cruise a few weeks ago. There were 10 of us and we put luggage in the extra too seats. There was alot of room in the very back for other luggage. The only gripe I have is that we checking in at MCO we had to wait 20 min for them to bring the Van from an offsite location. Other than than it was fine.

Double check your insurance for some reason I think, but I'm not sure, that some of the individual auto policies and credit card coverages exclude anything bigger than a mini-van.

I don't think there is anything else that will accomodate a family of 12-15. The only thing the agency could do is to give you a good price on two vehicles.
