If so, how booked was everything?
I'm considering changing my dates from 9/22-9/30 to 9/1-9/9 for a couple of reasons.
I'd only have to take 4 days of vacation instead of 5. Our kids would only miss 4 days of school instead of 5. Our son would miss the second week of school instead of the 5th week, so there's less chance of him having to make up any midterm exams.

But I'm worried that all the restaurants might already be booked up and I might have a hard time getting any decent ADR's.

well i am goin to be there from the 4th thru the 11th and i was able to get some great dining. even was able to grab crt for breakfast!!!
i am on the phone as i type making some final choices!!

I called changed all mine on Friday last week got some that I couldn't get the 3rd week of Sept. Got all my ADR's for dinner at the times I wanted too.

BUT we are only a party of 2 that makes a difference too. YOu might call check and see what you can get ADR wise that week and resort wise before changing weeks.

I am going the week of Labor Day (September 2-8), and I did have a hard time finding a decent ADR for the Sunday before Labor Day, and Monday Labor Day. I was specifically looking for dinner places in the resorts around Magic Kingdom (Poly, GF, CR, WL, etc) since we are staying at the Poly. Boy, it was hard to find something before 9:20! Forget Ohanas or Chef Mickeys. Finally got Grand Floridian Cafe and Concourse Steakhouse for decent times. :)

But if I had to keep looking, I am not sure what I would have done on those days!

We are a party of 8 and I was able to book Ohana Lilo and Stitch Breakfast, Cinderellas Royal Table for dinner, Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner,Mickey Backyard BBQ, Coral Reef, and Planet Hollywood. Although, I am tihnking I am going to have to move everything around. So we can fit in the Pirate and Princess Party and the BBB.:thumbsup2

Thanks everyone. It looks like I won't be switching the dates after all. My mom is using reward miles for her plane ticket and there's nothing available that would work for her that first week of September. After talking with DW, we also decided we'd rather stick with a value resort and save the money for something else. DW didn't really like the All Stars, but is willing to give Pop a chance and it's not available for that first week. So we decided to leave everything as is, staying at Pop the last week of September.
