Is the voucher being sent to TA?

The only time it will be sent to a TA is if you booked with a TA. We booked directly through DCL and they said I will be getting it in the mail soon. HOPEFULLY!

Your TA will mail it to you when they get it....just call them..I have heard that some TA don't know about the voucher coming!

Just got back from the 9/27 Wonder - a 4 night shortened to a 3 night.

We didn't get on the ship (Disney transfers) till close to 7 PM. So lost about 6 hours of onboard time. No sailaway party.

We didn't have our name called and greeted by the staff when we boarded.

We ended up having to stop at CC in the middle of the night on the first night to drop off supplies or something and so arrived late in Nassau the next day. We had booked an excursion (Blue Lagoon) for 9:15 that am, but didn't dock until past that time, so the excursion time was changed to 11:15. But returned at the original scheduled time. So we lost time on that, but didn't get charged less.

Then had to stay overnight in Nassau's port instead of enjoying the lulling rock of the ship overnight and watching the sea roll past the deck at night -- a favorite time.

Of course CC was out of the question.

What did we get? A 40% discount only. No rebooking discount, no stateroom credits.

Don't assume the travel agent will mail you your voucher--ours in holding the voucher (for ransom? ) seemingly to make sure they get the booking (but I don't want to impune motives).

I received an e-mail this morning from DU saying they have my voucher. It can be applied to previously booked cruise but not a holiday cruise. I am surprised it was not sent to me directly.

Just an FYI - if you request Dreams Unlimited Travel to send you your voucher they will be happy to do so.

Doctor P is absolutely right - don't assume you'll receive it!!!

I've contacted my MouseEarsVacations TA a few times & he insists he doesn't know anything about it. However, he did say that if he receives it, he'll let me know so that I can re-book with him. This is after I told him that I want the voucher in my hands b/c I don't know when & if I'll be rebooking anytime soon.

The thing is that I already rebooked w/ AAA for the 11/27 cruise b/c AAA is offering a $150 onboard credit; and thus, I really need that darn pc of paper in my hands so that my AAA rep or I can send it back to DCL w/ the ressie #.

I'm going to wait 1 more wk & call him again. If he claims not to have it, I will call DCL & MouseEarsVacations directly & complaint about it.

Do you guys have a better suggestion on how to approach this issue?

My travel agent received my voucher today.

I missed the boat on 9/4 sailing (changed to 9/7 sailing) due to the Hurricane Frances crisis (after spending two days in the hurricane and having to cancel at the last minute due to curfew and change in ports).

Anyhow, I rebooked my cruise today. It will cost me $2000.00 dollars (out of my pocket) more than the 9/4/04 cruise - that is including the 25% off voucher. I booked for March 19th, my DS's spring break week (the only week we can go). I later got a call from my TA saying that she is checking into whether or not I can use the 25% off voucher. She said there is a disclaimer for peak/holiday weeks. Anyone else hear of this?

Yep, got my voucher, even though we cancelled completely for our cruise. We actually re-scheduled our Sept 5 (Frances) cruise to Sept 26 (Jeanne) and wound up cancelling that one too. But I digress. I did get the 25% voucher which we will use, but it did mention not valid for holidays and peak season. I may try June or September again!

I was on the 9/4/04 cruise. Got on the re-scheduled cruise on 9/7/04. I can't imagine taht DCL will be giving me a 25% off a cruise voucher, let alone a cruise I will be able to do. They didn't even know I was in my stateroom on the 9/7/04 cruise and had to come knocking and tell me I wasn't supposed be there. Their system didn't have anyone in that room.

Odd considering I had that stateroom booked for nearly a year and my key opened the door. How I got into the room in the first place. LOL

So, given that I'm sure there is no voucher for anything off anything coming for me. Maybe a bill from DCL for charges they didn't get me for yet. LOL .... Its all good!

I agree...I'm still missing about $200 from my refund (this does not include the insurance I know I do not get refunded) nor did I get the voucher. I won't be able to use it, but heck, I still would like it in my hands!
