Anyone rec'd discount for Oct?!

Has anyone recently book a discounted room rate for RPH for October?

I have: Entertainment Card, AAA, and Fan Club and I cannot get anything for my dates, which are Oct 7 & 8th... do you think this is due to the HHNs?

I was trying so hard for that $119 so many people seem to be getting...any suggestions?!

I called about two weeks ago to try to get an entertainment rate for any of the resorts for any part of October. She told me there was nothing available, without even looking, because October is their busiest time of the year, due to HHN. Sorry for the news. That being said, just two days ago someone posted on the "date and rate" that they got an entertainment rate for October of 175.00 at HRH; but I don't know when they actually called to get it.

I booked for my trip end of September, beginning of October ~ 1 month ago; I was also told that no discounts were being offered at that time. When I asked about the annual passholder discount, the CM checked & sure enough, I was able to get PBH for $237/night club level & $202/night bayview! You do not have to have an AP in hand to book the room. You can purchase on arrival & you only have to buy one AP for your whole group to get a room discount. Also, as the time draws closer, there may be cancellations & you may be able to change your room to a discounted rate if you book a room at a higher rate & just keep checking back with the hotel. LOL!

you should call back and check frequently for cancellations.
i booked last month using the ent rate.for hrh oct 9,10,11,12
paying $192 pool view for the sat. 9th and 179 for rest of the dates per night.

i also checked out fan club rates and they had availability the first weekend of oct. they overall would be about $50 more higher that the second weekend for me.

to use the fan club rate, you have to book four nights. with ent rate, 3 nights.

keep trying and don't give up on trying to find a better rate through a cancellation. make the ressie now and have it modified later when something better comes up.

I called 6/18 (yesterday) and for oct 29,30th they still had ap rate of 164 or 175 AAA at the HRH for std room. I did check for the 8th. 9th. 10th they where booked at HRH.

I booked last week for one night 10/14. I first tried RPR but no discounts, price was $219. I then called back and got a much nicer operator and found an ent rate at PBH for $186, I jumped on it!

keep trying to call and see if any cancellations come up for the hotel you are at. then switch /modify your ressie.

i received a good rate for oct but still i call twice a week to see if i can better it.

don't give up the ship,,keep calling.
