EDIT: Nvm I caught it, are there pokemon centers in the game?

CB EDIT: Nope no Pokemon centers, they heal themselves after each battle.

How do we find each other? when I search CaptainBrain it just has Battle and other stuff.

CB EDIT: Read your PC messages (Pokemon Crater Messages) and do what it says

This message came up when I tried to make a offer "You have no additional Pokemon beyond your current team." Does that mean that I need to get more pokemon?

OK stitch, you need to go to View Team, and click on the pokemon you want to trade and select switch. It will then be sent a "box" then click View all Pokemon and select trade pokemon.
