Anyone planing a Vacation in next few Months

We are going to Costa Rica in July. Resort is already paid for and airfare booked so I don't see the prices going down FOR ME.

I do hope to squeeze in WDW in Sept/October for DGS' 3rd birthday but that is still very much up in the air.

Disneyland in April
Jamaica in June
WDW in December

Disneyland I already paid in full and got a great hotel rate. Even if Jet Blue drops their fares, since I already bought tickets, nothing to look for there. Jamaica is paid in full as well and again, Jet Blue, so nothing there. WDW we're staying at Bonnet Creek for a great price, so not looking there. Holding off a bit on airfare, but since it hasn't come out for December yet, not much of a choice. :)

Cruise booked for June. Have an ocean view booked, but watching prices on balconies, right now they are not much more than what I paid for OV, so might pull the trigger and upgrade. I've seen prices drop bit by bit over the past few weeks. It's only a 3 day cruise, so no big deal if we don't have a balcony, but the extra space would be nice.

My mom, my husband, 2 of our children, and my brother's family of 3 is/was to go on an Alaskan cruise the first week in July. It has been decided to cancel as the thought of quarantine scared the beejezus out of some of us. As we are right at full refund for cancellation time we thought it best to do it now.

If the virus appears better in a few months, and the trip can be rebooked for same or lower rate it is still on the table. As most people have flights a refundable vacation in Seattle is being planned by the TA. DH is bagging it completely and will spend the week at our lake house with oldest DS and me as he did not buy a plane ticket yet and was not big on going. Oldest DS and I were never going as we have zero interest in seeing Alaska or giving up a week of prime lake season.

While a cheap cruise would be intriguing, the thought of a quarantine takes it off the table.

i hAve at least 4 or 5 trips on the book at all times. When I was working I always counseled employees I managed to plan a few vacations out to have something to look forward to. I still follow that advice. This year is already packed.
And all of these are trips we go on every year except Africa

Disney world feb 28 to March 12
Africa with my husbAnd only March 26 to April 15
Aulani May 11 to May 21
Disney Cruise June 27 to July 6
Ranch in Colorado with my daughter July 26 to aug 3
Turner classic movie cruise early October
Week in Cabo last week in October

I do know how lucky we are. I retired at 55 and I’m 70 now. My husband is 74 and still practicing law but is seriously considering retiring at the end of the year. We have a disabled adult daughter who still loves Disney. We always bring her best friend on Disney trips and to Mexico.

My husband and I try to take at least one trip on our own every ear. We have been planning Africa for over year so not changing now. I figure we have A better chance of malaria than the virus even with the malaria meds.

my daughter and I have been going to a dude ranch every summer since she was 6. She’s 34 now. It’s a special time for us. and we both love to ride horses. As long as I can still get up I’m game!

At some point we need to slow travel down because of our ages and money once my husband retires. But not for a while.

We're going to San Francisco in April for our nephew's wedding then going to Napa for a few days after.
Hilton Head for a long weekend in May
Puerto Rico for a week in May
German river cruise in late Sept

I think if people hesitate to fly due to this virus, it's more likely that flights will be cancelled and there will be much less choice of flights. The reduction in supply (of flight seats) should keep the prices up. Airlines are going to try and avoid flying half empty flights. Layoffs, furloughs, cancellations, yes. Flight prices dropping significantly, I doubt it.

Like a previous poster, we like to have a few things brewing at all times. We just came back from FL, a combo WDW/Universal personal / work trip. We are both going to Las Vegas in less than two weeks, also for a work thing. Planning on visiting family in the Bahamas sometime this spring. May pop down to FL in early fall to help babysit our niece while her parents get a few days to themselves for their anniversary, which may morph into a Universal trip. If that does not happen, I anticipate another FL trip this fall. Got another work thing in Las Vegas NEXT March, and planning another river cruise in Ukraine or Russia in 2021, but haven't decided on a date for that yet.
Kids are adults, but not married and are happy to stay at the house & dog-sit whenever we go away which is great!
We work at same place, so work travel is often together, if not, the other spouse will often go for the fun of it-

In between, we will fit in the random weekend here or there within 2-4 hours driving distance from home.

Im thinking about Vegas in late April or May, Here is my question, Im checking for prices now, not to bad, but if your also plaing to leave in a couple monthes, are you waiting to see if the Coronavirus will make the prices drop ? I am, lol

So DW and I planned a Florida vacation for May before the Coronavirus hit. We're planning on driving, anyway, so no big deal.

DS is going to go teach in Japan and we're going to visit him, but we're waiting to see what his schedule will be. We'll also probably wait to see how the Coronavirus stuff plays out, not for airfare but if we want to go at that time.

We're headed to Vegas at the end of May. I just booked flights today (room has been booked-family timeshare). It's not as good of a deal as I got last year, but I'm happy with it. I was too impatient to wait any longer. I just wanted it booked lol.

Well, my company just announced there is going to be a round of layoffs and I don’t know if our office is affected yet. That will probably play a bigger part in my vacation plans than Coronavirus.

We're going to Disneyland in a week and a half. We are not changing our plans because of the coronavirus. But no way would I want to be on a cruise in the next several months. Or travel to Asia.
