Anyone own or sell Miche Bags?

I had never heard of these until today. Am I just behind the times? It seems like a brilliant idea. Anyone own one? How do you like it? Anyone sell them? Do you enjoy it? --Katie

My mom & I just went to a party.She ordered a wallet with magnetic closure.She found the purses too heavy.I'm not a big fan of chains on purses-but I thought the concept of changing out the covers was neat.
I would have been more impressed if the sales lady at the party promoted the items more/gave more information...I had the feeling she didn't want to be there-we had to ask for a book & order form.
If she had been excited & explained the purses more-I think the show would've been more successful.
I think alot of the products are geared to teens-20-30 y.o.-if you check out the page w/ the executive committee -they look to be in their early 20s.
I think that would be a good target market for parties if you decide to be a rep.

I bought two. One for me and one for my mother. Mine didn't last quite a year before it fell apart. The part that connected the handle to the bag fell off. My mother's lasted a bit longer but the straps started to fray; I've never seen that happen on any other purse. I will say the changeable covers are nice. They have a good assortment and the quality is pretty good.

They were a nice novelty but I wouldn't get another one. 31 carries a similar product but I didn't care for how cheap the fabric felt.

I have the classic one. I used it for quite awhile but don't carry it too much anymore. I have several covers. I prefer the full covers because, at least to me, they're more secure then the wrap covers. My mom carries one and she loves hers!

I've had mine for a couple of years. The quality could be better, my purses typically last longer than I can stand to look at them, so I thought this would be a great option. Like the above posted noted my straps are fraying and there is wear on the inside of the purse. I only carry about 4 months out of the year, so I don't feel like it is holding up very well. I don't spend a lot on a purse, because I would like to feel like I have money to put in it after the purchase

PS I didn't buy it, hubby suprised me with it for Christmas, you could have knocked me over with a feather. I had never heard of or seen them prior to him giving to me.

My husband surprised me with it for Christmas as well. He was so proud of himself. Got me the smaller bag and three covers. Problem is, I don't love it. It's a bit too small and even with different covers, I like to be able to change my purses up a bit more. I don't have the heart to tell him I don't like it though, so I just keep carrying it.

My Mom has one with three covers and she likes it. I like it too, but not for myself. She took it to Disney last year and had on a White/Ivory Mickey shirt and her Miche bag is black and she was wearing the strap across her body. It rained and the black dye from the strap bled all over her shirt.

Thanks for the input, guys. It sounds like there may be some quality issues . Maybe I'll get myself invited to party so I can check them out for myself. It's a great concept, but it sounds like they may have a few things to work out. --Katie

I like the concept, found one used, ended up selling it. The quality is not great and I am really a leather purse type. I much prefer a brown or leather well made purse.

I also have the 31 purse that changes covers and I do like it, but even that isn't truly my style.

I bought one for my daughter she just "had to have it" lol..anyhow..I bought the smaller hand bag and a couple changing covers. You have to be careful when storing the covers they will dent, and she doesn't use it anymore. It is cute I just wish I hadn't bought it honestly.

I have the classic , the prima and the demi. I love them and the concept. They do have a warrranty and it is a very good warranty. Definatly go to a party with a rep who knows the products in and out. the strap hook ( the one attatched to the base) on the classic broke and it was about 9 months old they sent me a brand new base. very good warranty.

I am apparently in the minority, bc I have the big Miche Bag and 3 covers and I really like mine. It's a bit too big bc I tend to continue to throw stuff in it and than it gets heavy..lol. But other than that I really like mine. You do have to be careful as to how you store the covers bc they will get messed up.
