I finally (After watching for YEARS) bought something from QVC. It was a epiphiny clad diamonique ring. (Fake and more fake! LOL!) It was only $20 and SOOOOO pretty I couldn't resist. (Yeah, I had one of those rare moments of retail weakness...but it's the first time I EVER have bought something from TV so cut me some slack! Hehehe...)

Do you have any diamonique or epiphiny clad jewelry? Does it REALLY look real? Does it hold up well or does the platinum wear off?

Share your experiances! Enquiring fake jewelry wearing minds want to know! :D

Love it love it love it!! My mom and I have been buying diamonique for YEARS. I am no gem expert but I think it looks real (except the bigger stuff that I obviously wound't be able to afford real). I actually have a three stone diamonique ring on right now!

THANK YOU! Makes me feel a little better! LOL! I got the 3 stone 1.5 carat TW ring that they had on special yesterday. I worry it might be too big to look real on me. I tend to wear smaller stones. But then with it being spread over 3 stones, that might not be too much. I DON'T KNOW! LOL! I'll be wondering till it comes in. ;)

This??

I have it on right now!! I LOVE IT! It was my mom's until my dad bought her a REAL one, lol

I have the most beautiful diamonique "hidden mickey" ring.
I don't wear it everyday, but when I do, I get So many compliments.
It is so pretty!

www.qvc.com the product number is J18105
I can't figure out how to post the picture of it :confused3

I have one and personally I can tell its fake, I'm not sure if other people can but it doesn't have that sparkle like real diamonds. Even when my diamond is dirty it still sparkles diamonique eh not so much.

I can't get the pic in the link to come up. My computer is spazzing over JAVA and a few other things right now. It was item # j-26714 if that helps though. ;)

ETA: NOW it works.... nope, not the one. Mine has a little swirl under the setting. Close though! :)

I have diamonique earrings that I bought in 1996. They still look brand new. They look real as long as you don't hold them directly next to your real diamonds. Everyone that has seen mine thinks they are real -- of course - they are in my ears and not that many people are going to get right in my face to look at them. The smaller they are - the more likely others will believe them to be real. Mine are set in real gold, which makes a difference in the overall appearance. I've been wanting to try the epiphany clad - but this is just platinum over a base metal. Over time, the plated material will wear off.

I have several pieces of Diamonique jewelry -- rings and necklaces. I absolutely love them and I get compliments on them all the time. Enjoy!

While I do not have dimondique I do have cz's. It has been my experience that two things help to keep the allusion. ONe if you get smaller stones and two if you have a very good gold setting. People do not think you would put a fake in a good setting.

I have this one: www.qvc.com item number J24839

It's kinda big but it's really pretty. People always approach me and ask me about it. They think it's real. I think the "platinum" looks real, so far it has not scratched or worn off, and I've had this ring for aobut 8 months now. I'm wearing it now! My real wedding ring is yellow gold and all my bracelets are silver, so when I want to wear a bracelet, I wear this ring instead of my wedding ring.

OK...I hate to ask this, but could y'all post pics?!? I can't get my computer to let me see anything at QVC. It takes me to the homepage every time. *sniff* :(

I love it too! I have two rings and they look great. Epiphiny cad looks real. You'll have a lot of fun with it. My girl friend has the real thing and she orders diamonique.:yay:

I have a multitude of Diamonique pieces and many are Epiphany. I really enjoy them not only for the cost factor but because I can have pieces that I would never be able to afford if they were real.

Because I mix them with real jewelry, no one knows they aren't real. Just buy pieces that are of a size that would be believable in your real life. Of course, if you suddenly showed up with a 5 CT ring, I think people might suspect (of course, I have a friend with a real 5CT ring but that's another story). I have rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets. My epiphany tennis bracelet is a gorgeous piece and no one has any idea it's not real.

At the price you paid, enjoy it. I feel the bonding holds up well, and if you ever feel that it's not, contact QVC and they will make it right.

I own 1-2 pieces. One of them is my wedding ring. When we got married, we didn't have the money for a real ring so I got that one instead. You really can't tell if it's real or not. I have 2 stories to go along with this:
1-Walked into a jewerly store in the mall looking at their prices, etc and the lady that worked there saw it on my hand and asked me if it was real? Of course I said yes and she looked at it closer on my finger and said that it was very beautiful.
2-We went to TN for our 1 yr anniversary and we used one of those timeshare things. So we had to go spend (supposely) 1.5hrs to tour the place. Well at the end of it we told them no that it wasn't in our budget, etc and of course they would go talk to their manager and come back with a lower price. We kept telln them no. But they would not take it. After another hour or so the manager (a lady) came over and was chatting with us with the salesperson and we basically said..."Look we can't afford it right now." She replied back " With a ring like that on your finger you should beable to afford a timeshare". First of all, I got sooo mad b/c she was saying that we could afford it. I looked at her and said " NO we can't afford it and ya know what the rink is FAKE!!! Call QVC they will tell ya." :rotfl2: The lady manager's mouth dropped open.:rotfl: We were able to leave after that.

Similar thing happened to me. They too made reference to my ring. Thing was the salesperons also had on fakes, she asked me if I desinged my ring it is extremely differnt I told her yes and then I complimented her on her jewlery. Someone who came over (manager) commented on the size of my ring and the fact I said I could not buy. I told her that i got it years ago when I was engaged and at that time it was very reasonable (which is the truth about my real diamond). Then I said , " times up you said 90 min and you re over time. "

Love my Epiphany Diamonique! I have a number of rings, two tennis braclets, earrings and necklaces. I do agree that the stone will lose its sparkle when it gets dirty but I love QVCs Precious Spray and Sparkle Jewelry Cleaner. I just use that and the cloth and my stones look brand new all over again.
