I'm toying with the idea (no pun intended!) on this for a business venture - but know NOTHING about it yet...just now browsing for info --just know they aren't all over the place here (maybe for a good reason! Just don't know yet)

Would love any info if anyone out there has any....

If you are talking about the inflatable bounce houses there is big money in that kind of business. We had some for out church festival and for a total of 3 hours with two bounce house, one obstacle course, and a ball pit it was over $1500.00.

I spoke with the owner and the main expense he faced besides the equipment itself was the liablity insurance. He said it was astronomical and the state required several million dollars worth as they have to inspect and license each piece of equipment twice a year.

Are you talking about a bounce house rental business??? I know someone who has one. He doesn't advertise a lot, mostly word of mouth. I think he has 4-5 bounce houses. You would need a truck or a trailer to transport the houses. They are very heavy! It is kind of a challenge to fold them up and load them onto a truck/trailer. Good Luck!

That price is INSANE. I rent a 15 x 15 bouncy every year for our 4th of July party, (this year we had the Disney Princess one) and its $150 for 6 hours and they deliver, set up and take down. Try a new vendor next year, I think you got took.

:rotfl: OMG, I'm so silly! I could not for the life of me figure out what a jumpy house was. I thought maybe a house that creaked alot or shifted somehow. :confused3 :rotfl2:

We call them moon bounces although I'm not sure where that came from. Hope it works out for you!

The vendor we used is only one within a 350 mile radius. We knew the price was high but it was well worth it. This is the very reason I am researching starting a business just like the OP.

That's better than me! I thought she said jumpy horse! I thought, huh? :confused3 that's a question for a very narrow group of people. You might try a equestrian board!
