Anyone order there contact lenses online?

I am thinking about ordering my contact lenses online. I have allways got them through my eye dr, but he recently died of a sudden heart attack. He was in a partnership with another dr so they still are open as far as i know. I don't like the other person he was with though. I just want to get a large stock pile till i find another dr. I also found that they are $10-$12 cheaper online than i was paying him.

I order online all the time. I get my annual check-up at the eye doctor, and about 4 months worth of contacts are covered by insurance - but after that I order them online. They can be anywhere from $10-$30 a box cheaper than my eye doctor. I use Vision Direct but shop around, the price per box can vary from website to website, and can change daily. Also search for free S&H or discount codes, there are always some out there. I know if you put somerthing in your online shopping cart at Vision Direct but don't check out for a few days, they email you an offer for 10% off what's in your cart.

Another vote for Vision Direct. Once you order from them you get emails a few times a year with an additional 10% off.

I just checked my email and the current code through 9/27 is 10WINK which gets you 10% off plus free shipping.

I used Coastal Contacts and saved nearly $200 off my doctor's price . I went through ebates and saved a good percentage there (10%??) and did a search for promo codes, which knocked a good chunk off their already discounted prices. The only funny thing is they bill through Canada (didn't know this until my cc called to confirm the purchase...seems a little fishy), they ship from Washington though, and the prescription is right.

I use 1800contacts and usually get free shipping. Not sure if they are the best price, but they are reliable and I've been a happy customer for a few years now.
