I agree! The new breakfast burrito with potatoes is YUCK! I'll stick with the sunshine sandwich.
 
I have my consult. tonight. I lost 2 more pounds as of this morning - 15 so far, but I had a very rough weekend. Once I started with the Easter candy, it was hard to stop! Ugghhh....
Tomorrow I am back to work, so that will make it much easier to get back on track, I hope.
I did walk three times this week. That might have saved me!!

I keep thinking "summer at the beach and the pool" - that is my motivation.

I had Easter candy issues too. I was so relieved when I actually lost 1.8 lbs this week. It seems that every week I have some sort of challenge. Hopefully I'll learn to navigate these situations better.
 
There is one quote I want everyone to keep in the back of their heads...

It's about PROGRESS, not PERFECTION;)

And the new menu's should help, they are designed to help keep you fuller longer...that way you stick to the menu and you are less apt to cheat.

Yesterday I walked on the treadmill. I have done it fairly faithfully for a full week now and I was so excited that I actually looked forward to exercise for the first time in a long time.

But I cranked up the treadmill to over 3.5 mph and jogged for about 1/2 a mile. It felt great!

Later in the day my knees started hurting pretty bad and one is worse than the other. Now it is really painful for me to walk up stairs.

I really want to keep up this exercise, but I think I blew it by going too fast too soon.

How many days should I wait to go on again? What have I done to my knees?

Dawn - I would give yourself a few days to let your knees rest for a while. If you are still in pain after 3 days, I would call your doctor. You may have torn something. I know I am banned from running, jumping or any other high impact exercise by my doctor because I would likely blow my knees out if I did any of that on a regular basis. I stick to walking and swimming and it has been going well so far.

Thanks. I haven't been on my legs too much today, but I think they are feeling better. Tomorrow I will try to do some weight type exercises and not do cardio. That would work.

How's everyone doing? How did everyone's week go? I weigh on Mondays now. I think I'm down one pound. I would be happy with that. I had a few rough spots this week. Just nibbling here and there....jellybeans, more Easter candy, 3 Thin Mint cookies, ugghhh.....

I am eating my chili for lunch right now. Never had it before. Pretty good! I added some hot sauce and a little sprinkle of low fat cheese.

Has anyone else gotten to a point where the temptations were harder to manage? I was so good about it, and now after 2 months, I'm feeling like I can't control myself. Before, I could walk by the junk table at work without even looking, and just go eat my own lunch. Now I'm more tempted.

Maybe because I'm down 15, I've been giving in a little more. But I still want to keep losing until the summer. Yikes!!!
 
DH and I both signed up for Jenny Direct last night. Should be getting our boxes this coming Tuesday.

He wants to lose a big whopping 25 lbs. to my 80! He's such a dirtbag! :lmao:

I'm psyched and can't wait! I really, really wanna lose some before vacation in July!

You have to find what works best for you!! I had a client this week that loves bread and butter. I told her it's not that she can't eat it, but learn how to eat it. When you order Mac and Cheese you have to add a starch and then skip your Jenny's Dressing for margarine.

It's all about learning...finding out when your hungry...learning how to deal with emotional eating. And not getting down when you mess up a bit.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm really excited to get my supplies next week! I'm really lucky that DH is so supportive also! Now, if I can just feed DD17 her regular meals without dipping in to them. popcorn::

Same question here!!! I'm glad it's not just me. I've had two rough weeks. I feel like I cannot get back on track. I'm ok with breakfast, lunch and snacks, and then it's downhill....

I will still be around for support and trying to maintain my weight using what I have learned at JC.

And when you go tonight, make sure you invest in Rewards. It's the only thing that will really work and make sure you keep the weight off after you lose it!! Congrats!

I'm sooooo excited!!! I haven't gone off program one time since I started 4/9/08!! I've NEVER been on a diet that I enjoyed this much!!!
