Anyone on Jenny Craig?

I bought the food voluminzing cookbook. If you are on rewards, you get it for $5 off.

I would see if your center still offers the rewards, I would look into getting that as many centers have already done away with the "up to 35% off" thing and now only offer 10% off.

I messed up.

I went in for a consulation and told them that I didn't like Day 6 on my menu.

They said they would swap it for a day on another menu. I told them which one I wanted and they cut it out, but then pasted it on Day 1 and not Day 6.

So, I ended up with Day 6 foods anyway. Dang it, I don't like those foods!

I hate it when that happens..... I have a few items in my freezer that I need to find a way to actually eat. They were duplicates of things that are just not my favorites... Nothing wrong with them, but not my favorites... I did get an idea on this board to make soup with the potstickers. I so need to try that....

Fajita Bowl!

Man, tonight I really needed to volumize my food!

I just "grilled" (with Pam) about 1 full cup of broccoli and about 1/2 cup of mushrooms in a pan. I then added 1/2 cup of pineapple.

I cooked up the fajitas as on the package, added it to my large bowl of veggies and fruit, stuck some hot sause on top and cut up the tortillas into small strips and stirred it all together.

it is a huge bowl and tastes great!

That one is tough. I personally would heat it up, add cool whip and more blueberries. Maybe even mix some chunks in with my yogurt :)

The muffins fill me up if I eat them with either a yogurt a big glass of milk and my fruit!

Hi there. I'm been doing JC for about a month now and I'm really liking it. I have done EVERY diet in the past - even JC - and it just did not work out for me. I know it was ME, not the diet or changes. I just could not stick with anything long enough to make it work.

This time I feel totally different though - I'm actually enjoying it and feel great doing it. I have the walking tapes and try to change those up and do them at least 5 times a week. I have the tricords but have not been that adventurous yet :rolleyes1

I volumize or modify almost all my foods - it makes me feel like I'm still cooking and not just eating out of a box. This way I can also make things taste great to me - I love my spicy foods :stir: I put onion and garlic with celery and green/red peppers in almost everything - so yummy and makes everything very filling. Lot's of chipotle hot sauce! I also try to make sure I don't eat or drink anything after 7 p.m. and this has worked out very well for me.

We're going to Disneyland in May, so I want to lose weight before we go and try to be as good as possible while still really enjoying my vacation!.

Belle - did lowering your calorie level work? I know that personally, if I go too low I won't lose weight. It sounds strange, but I notice that if I am really strict and am not losing and I add something small - like half a cup of cottage cheese or something else higher in protein - whoosh, I start losing again.
 
Hi Everyone! In case any of you are not aware, JC has recalled the meatloaf and salisbury steak entrees. Evidently they possibly contain meat from the beef recall last month. You can bring them in to your center and exchange them for whatever entree you wish!

Not strange at all!! Basically if you go to low you are starving your body and it tends to store all the calories you give it vs burning them.

well i finally lost 5lbs after 3weeks!!!:cool1: i feel so much better with the lower calories!!:goodvibes i did however cheat really bad on sunday:eek: made it through breakfast then it was all down hill after that. i found out my husband got his hours cut at work and there was a bunch of other stuff. my father just had a heart attack a couple weeks ago. he is doing ok now but things were just a little tough. not that this is any excuse but i took it all out on myself. had chinese, soda, chocolate (lots of it)!!! ugh but i started fresh again on monday so hopefully that wont happen again, atleast for a while:guilty: sounds like everyone is doing good!! good luck this week everyone:banana:

Congrats!!! That's great! We all have our moments...for me it was the macadamia nuts last night. Luckily, there were only a few left, so that's all I ate. But getting right back on track is key!!

I have been so busy since we got back that I haven't been able to even start thinking about a TR. I really want to though before my mind gets too fuzzy about the details. I will use my photos to help me.

We are going to see my Mom and to Disney for a few days this weekend. After that I will start putting one together. It's funny how I'm not stressing about Disney like I did with the cruise. I guess I know we do SO much walking while we're there, so that a splurge or two will stay be ok.

This loss has been a long time coming.... Don't worry about the slip up... these will happen from time to time (I had one myself this past week). The important thing is that you got up the next day and started again....

Thanks, Goof.....I was so worried about starting JC before these two trips. It's all I kept thinking about. But I am so glad I did...I'm down 11 already. So I know that would be plus AT LEAST 11, if not more, if I hadn't started.

No trips until the summer after this. It all came together this time!

Goof~ thanks! this 5lbs was def a difficult 5 to lose i think that had something to do with my big sunday cheat with the chocolate and chinese lol. you are right though the important thing is to get right back on it, and i was proud of myself for that because normally when something like that happens to me i tend to fall off the wagon all together and it takes me weeks to start again because i lose hope in myself.

Good morning girls! I wasn't around yesterday because I was at a meeting out of town and let me tell you....BIG things are coming :) Can't say what yet but the day after Easter expect some new exciting things that I think will help everyone.

This week has been really good. I have had coffee twice (not the regular kind but the fufu kind with lots of chocolate and cream :rotfl: ) But other than that I have been on plan and I excercised TWICE! I did my balance ball on tuesday and this morning I did a 10 minute pilates thing for my core plus I am walking today at work. I also had to scrap SO much ice off my car yesterday that my arms are physically sore this morning.

OK friends.....convince me that I did the right thing....I talked to my consultant about what happens after the 20 pounds for 20 bucks is over, and to continue on and maintain, I signed up for the rewards. It sounded like it made the most sense. He was going to redo my order so I got the 10% off this order too.

BUT....I'm agonizing over the additional $$$ I just spent on the sign up cost. Yes, I got the discount on today's order (for four weeks of food) but I probably should have done this from the time I started, 4 weeks ago. I do plan on doing for the next few months.

I did lose another pound this week. 12 so far!!!
