Anyone on Jenny Craig?

I LOST 6 POUNDS!!!!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Needless to say, I am very excited....

Juliegirl1 - How did the "official" weigh in go? I am not a big bean fan either so the chili dishs quickly came off my list of foods. Keep trying and I'm sure you'll find some things that work for you. So far, I am a big fan of the chocolate cake and the bluberry muffins (why is it that the sweet stuff is what I remember the most).

As for me, I'm from the Albany area so MainStMandy - I don't think I am going to your center :-( Thanks for the support though... (and keep it coming ;) )

I set an exercise goal of going to the gym three times this week along with following my food program. Wish me luck on that.
 
I lost four pounds! :banana: I'm happy about that, especially since I ate out about five meals.

Unfortunately I am having issues with my surgeon signing off on my release so JC wouldn't let me get the food this week until he does. They told me that if I couldn't get a doctor's release I can't come back for three months since I just had major surgery. Argggh. :mad: I wish the doc would just sign off but he says the work release he gave me was good enough and JC insists that their form has to be signed.

Just to update you all on JC... I lost 18.4 lbs so far. I find the program very easy because unlike Nutrisystem (which I've been on also) the food is GREAT! I only have a hard time eating all the fruits and veggies throughout the day. I feel full all the time which goes to show you what kinds of food choices I made before joining JC. There are very few foods I don't like on the program.
I'll keep you updated as time goes...good luck to those on program...Let me know how you are doing too!!!
 
Congrats!!

The apple crisp was a seasonal item that is no longer available...your center may have run out of it. The teriyaki salmon is coming back next month :)

I loved the apple crisp...hope they bring it back. I do like the smores bar but I think my fav is to take the brushetta chips and scoop them with salsa :) I asked about the salmon (saw it on an old order form) and am glad to see it is coming back.

Try light v8 fusions. It's the equivalent to 1 fruit and 1 veg :)

Hi Everyone...

Had my weigh in yesterday and lost another 2 pounds....:cool1: :banana: :cool1:

I am doing a bit of travelling this week for work and am nervous about how I will do. I am bringing my breakfasts, lunches, snacks and one dinner with me on my two day trip, but that dinner out has got me a little concerned... :scared:

Guess I'll be hitting the gym a little harder this week...

I feel like it was just yesterday I was posting about my size 8 jeans...well I went clothes shopping this weekend and I bought....6's!!! I am so excited. I weighed in this morning at 145 :)

I just came back from my trip and I think I did well considering. The friend I was visiting was amazed at my energy level and often found himself on the escalator watching me run up the stairs next to him. Had to do something to work off that steak and potato dinner.... :laughing: I am back on my program and we shall see what the scale looks like on Saturday. I am hoping to hit the ten pounds lost mark. Keep your fingers crossed for me....

Well, I went in to be weighed in today...So far, I lost 17.6 lbs!!! Today was week 8 for me. I measured up today and lost 1" on bust area (of course :( ) 5" at the waist, 4" at abdomen and 3 1/2" at the hips!!!!

For a reward, I've been craving a few Lean Cuisine Meals and so I'm going to try to fit them into a MOMO. One is the butternut squash ravioli meal and one is the Salmon with orzo pasta.

Do any of you sub Lean Cuisine at any time for a JC meal??? I like fish and I'm getting tired of using just the fish & chips when I want a fish meal. So....I bought the Salmon meal for during the week if I feel like fish...

I usually don't reccommend that my clients sub in other meals while you are in the weight loss portion of the program. The JC program is designed to be nutrionially and calorically balanced for whatever calorie level you are on. When you start subbing things like lean cuisine, you throw that off. Even if the calories are similar that doesn't mean the nutritional content or exchanges are.

The teriyaki salmon is coming back at the end of the month if you like fish :)

I weighed in again today and am still maintaing my 145. I also bought a balance ball and am going to start doing that either in the morning or after work.

MsMouse - Congrats on the weight and inches lost... You are doing awesome... My JC Consultant was just telling me about the new food that is coming in next month and she said the salmon dish was yummy. She also mentioned something about gingerbread man cookies for the holidays...

MainStMandy - good luck with the balance ball. I had a hard time with them in the past, but once you get the hang of it, they can be kind of fun.

I weighed in this morning and lost another pound. I am thrilled given how crazy my travel schedule was. I ate out for about five or six times this week so any loss was huge for me. I am starting my week 4 tomorrow, so I am hoping to hit the ten pound mark at the end of next week.

Hey girls!!! Hows the week going?? Good on my end. I have been maintaing my weight for about 3 weeks right and am so excited. I have been sticking to my menu except for Friday nights. Friday nights have become date night and I have been cooking dinner AND dessert. Tomorrow is chicken cordon blue with cheese mashed potatoes and chocolate fondue. I won't eat barely any of it but it's still fun. It's nice because I know I can look forward to my ONE splurge a week and still stay on track.

MainStMandy - Congrats on the maintenance... I am not sure what is harder losing weight or keeping it off.... Enjoy that dinner tomorrow night...

I am doing well so far this week. I have been doing a good job sticking to my plan this week, but last night was the first time since I started the progam about a month ago that I looked at what the rest of my family was eating and thought - I want that instead... I was good and ate my planned meal, but I may need to talk to my consultant about building into the plan something about eating a planned home cooked meal from time to time.

As a treat, I saved a starch serving from my afternoon snack and made a brownie and fat free chocolate pudding sundae for a late night snack yesterday... YUMMY!!!! Weigh in is on Saturday, I am hoping to finally hit the ten pounds lost mark this week... Wish me luck....

I also saw that we will be starting up with turkey salad with crackers and chunky applesauce and GINGERBREAD MEN WITH ICING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
