Anyone NOT on the dining plan?

We are going the last week in Aug. and are not doing the DDP. First of all, I couldn't because I won the trip and Disney would not allow me to purchase it on my own, but after further thought, we decided to rent a car for a total of $250 for a week,(far less than the DDP would have been to purchase for my family of 4) and allowing us the flexibility to go off property to restaurants (at far cheaper prices than DIS) and IMHO much better food! I do have some ADR's for on property places (Ohana Breakfast, Boma Dinner & Raglan Road Dinner), but as whole, I think having flexibilty fits better for my family!
