Anyone not loving Adam Lambert?

I have to say that I would more likely buy a Kris CD over Adam's CD.

But there is NO denying the incredible talent and natural stage presence of that kid, so I am a HUGE Adam supporter because he deserves to win it all.

We're not fans of Adam either. Can't stand the screeching and don't understand why the judges love it so much. I never understood the whole Fantasia love either. Adam is entertaining, and we do look forward to his performance every week. I think it is his performance that makes people love him so much. Once it's just the music, listening to him on the radio...I can't imagine he'll have as many loyal followers. Look at Taylor Hicks...the whole Soul Patrol thing helped him win Idol but he flopped otherwise (at least compared to other Idols).

I think maybe I'll vote for Kris next week. I didn't realize Adam didn't have the world's support. Since the judges seemed to have picked him to win weeks ago, I really thought it might be a done deal.

And danny is NOTHING like David Cook. Nothing.

Adam is too much of a showman for my taste. I can't stand the screaching, and he needs to keep his disgusting tongue in his mouth. I couldn't stand Fantasia either, for many of the same reasons.

I'm a huge fan of Michael Buble. When I saw him in concert three years ago, he opened the show with "Feeling Good." Adam's renedition was a carbon copy, as was the staging, coming down the steps, the lighting, etc....I couldn't believe what I was seeing. If you compare Buble's concert DVD to Adam's presentation, they're almost interchangeable. So much for creativity and "making it your own".

I would have loved to see a Danny/Kris final. Paula really put the screws to Danny by picking "Dance Little Sister" for him. The judges and AI overall are so biased as to who they want to win it's laughable; it's become much more of a popularitity contest than a singing/entertainment competition.

I'll watch next week just long enough to get the phone numbers to vote for Kris, and then change the channel to something worth my time while casting my votes.

He has been the chosen one since week one. I can't stand that. Why the words "self-indulgent" haven't been used on him MOST WEEKS is beyond me. If any of the other contestants had arranged/performed like he did that's exactly what they would have heard. He is a one trick pony and that trick (the screaming) makes my ears bleed. I think it's totally unfair of Simon to say he'll win on Oprah and the "endorsement" by Bono probably sealed the deal for him. I hope Kris leaves him in the dust next week.

About Michael Buble--You're spot on. During Adam's song, I looked at DH and said, "He has obviously been watching Michael Buble's performance."

I thought Danny would put out music tended toward a more mature audience, well as mature as I can be

However, saying all that, we called Adam winning from the first week simply because American Idol needs a winner in all generes of music and they have yet to find one that dominates the big hair rockers and now they have one. If next year there person is a gospel singer, then AI will have almost all the music represented.

I've never really thought that this show is what America likes. It is more about how to bring in more money for the show and the record producers.

I can't stand Adam - the falsetto thing got old really fast for me. He just doesn't seem to have much of a range, or at least he chooses not to use it. I'm not a big fan of the whole glam rock thing anyway, but the constant shrieking and falsetto make me really dislike him. I keep seeing everyone rave about him and I just don't get the appeal.

They had their gospel singer in Danny. He's the music director at his church here in Milwaukee. He said in an interview that was aired here in town last week that every week on AI he's having to learn a new song, because his genre pre-Idol was gospel.

I know this isn't a popular view I wish he would have done some gospel music. like Creed I think he would have really blown more then he already did

I am not a happy camper today. As far as Adam goes....I think he is talented but I find him better suited for Broadway then anything else.

I am going to vote for Kris regardless. I wonder if the "Danny nation" will vote for Kris and I also wonder if Adam made it through because he picked up Alison's votes.
