Anyone NOT impressed by Palin?

At least it’s good to know she takes her job seriously.

Hope the baby has good nannies and therapists. I had a niece with Down’s, nurture during the first months is specially important for children with disabilities.

Are you kidding me?..........I can't believe you wrote that. I also HAVE a brother who is Down's. These children and adults are so loving and giving. I could go on but, I just can't believe you have so little insight.. :sad2: I guess you feel that way about all children who have mothers that work....since you think they are incapable of nuturing their children AND holding a job. This is important for all children and not just in the first few months of life.

As many as McCain had in his town. Funny thing, isn't it?
And, btw, no one ever said that there was any 'friendship' between Avers and Obama.

OK, then how bout the friendship between Rev. Wright? Oh I forgot, they were closer than friends, he was his spiritual mentor and married him and baptised his children!

[/B]

why not? Thomas Edison never graduated high school. Oh wait, that makes it impossible for him to be one of the greatest minds and the person who gave us the light bulb. I forgot, how silly of me.

You're grasping at straws...:rotfl2:

So, is Wright Baracks VP pick? You need to stay on message here.

You have officially jumped the shark.

You went from the PP stating that they hoped Palin's youngest child had good nannies and therapists to deduce that must mean that poster must "feel that way about all children who have mothers that work"...

This child has a medical condition that should be treated with the respect it deserves. His mom has a job that she decided to return to after 3 days, despite benefits and someone ELECTED to take over the job for her. She will be resigning and turning her job over to that Lt. Governor. But yet that person could only do her work for less than a week???

What's more important to Palin? Her child, or her job? From her actions, her job. HER action deserves criticism because she is running in a political party that loves to talk about how they support "family values" while cutting social services, disagreeing with FMLA, and supporting various other family UNfriendly, business-centered legislation.

Honestly I believe a homophobe has no place in politics. They are supposed to represent all the people not just the ones they feel comfortable with.

Look at the Gallup Presidential polls. Something like a 10 point swing to Obama, bringing his lead to 8 points. Sounds like the result of some unwelcome news to me.

Rich::

That poll was through Wednesday. No Thursday/Friday polling is out. Stay tuned.

No, of course not. That was why Obama chose Ayers house to start his political career. He could have chosen anyones house out of the phone book, but Ayers was on the first couple of pages.

Yup, mayor of a town of 7,000. Bet is was a part time gig. And ran Alaska? Please. My grandmother could run Alaska.

Face it, she's nothing. But McCain supporters would endorse a block of cheese for VP if he put his name on it.

I just can't get pass that number. There are apartment buildings in NYC, hell we have city blocks with more people than that.:rotfl2:

Senators are generally gasbags who like to hear themselves talk and think they know what's best for you. Most, including Obama, never really do anything particularly productive. Even if you don't agree with their politics, McCain, Biden, and even (shudder) Kennedy are at least exceptions to this rule, whether because of their longevity or otherwise, and have made am impact on this country. Obama has made little to no impact on this country other than rhetoric and this intangible "hope" he keeps alluding to. Palin, in her two years as governor, however, has made significant impacts on her state as its chief executive. Keep trying to tell me Obama has the experience to be qualified for the POTUS. Certainly no more than Palin, and some, including myself, would argue less.

Did you ever think that maybe she went back to work so fast because she is the bread winner in the family and needed to work to support her family?

Its funny, if she was a dem, she would be praised as a Hard working dedicated mother.

Sorry, please explain that one. ALL government employees have a minimum of 6 week maternity leave paid that I ever heard of. I can't imagine that she went back to work for the MONEY!

I was President of my local PTA and we have 1000 students..... that must mean in a few years I will be qualified to run for President of the USA!!

Oh but darn ...I was not a beauty queen and did not major in communications....

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I've got you beat....I've been President, secretary and all around kicked in the behind for 8 years and now currently feed 125 band members on a regular basis.....so I'll be Prez and you can be VP.

(the other stuff we'll just bribe to make sure it gets on our resumes:rotfl: )
