Anyone NOT gotten an email conf. that booked online?

I made my reservation this morning for FD and then didn't print anything out (stupid I know but had a sick kid and wasn't thinking clearly!) and then left the house for the day to take my sick child to the Dr. but now I'm back home and I still haven't recieved an email conf.# that I booked the trip! It has been about 11 hours so I'm starting to panic and KICKING myself for not printing or even writting down a conf#!!
Has anyone else not recieved an email? I'm hoping they are just backed up?
 
I didn't an email confirmation either. Kept checking. Nothing. Later in the afternoon my DH called and they were able to send me a email confirmation. I did have my confirmation #. They told DH when they sent the email confirmation that it could take up to 24 hours. It took roughly 24 hours to show up in my inbox. I've had problems in the past getting email confirmations when calling in. This was my 1st time using the online option. So I was quite nervous when the email wasn't showing up all day.

I did try the online check in even though I was more than 10 days out. It brought up my reservation ok, saying I couldn't check in of course. But all I cared was that the system found it! Oh and the Accomations for me kept showing "other" under my itinerary. That was kinda freaking me out! :eek:

Hang in there, give them a call and see if they can't send you another confirmation. :)

I booked free dining this morning before I went to work. Still haven't received email confirmation, but I did print out my reservation, and I can pull it up online, so I'm not worries. Hopefully that email confirmation will come soon. I figured I screwed it up because it wanted to send it to the email listed on my Disney acct. and I changed it to the email that goes to my cell phone.
 
I've noticed in the past that they send them out in batches. If you make the reservation or change to a reservation by a certain time it makes it out in that batch....otherwise it takes till the next batch is processed. Seems like last time it was 9am each day that they went out when I made my reservations.
 

That makes some kind of sense! I seem to recall when I was having issues getting an email confirmation, they'd say they would request a confirmation be sent and when questioned it was being sent from a different department. So :idea: it now makes sense :)

A new experience doing the online reservation and it was so easy! I kept thinking something must be wrong since I'm booking, getting what I want and not on the phone for over an hour (though DH did spend a 1/2 hr and got cut off which prompted me to go online).

I think I might even try :eek: online resort check-in later when it's time. :surfweb:

Mom was on the phone though since she already had a room and had to do the adjustment. Guess pushing off doing my planning paid off LOL
 
I did my booking at 8pm tonight and had my confirmation email within an hour.

I was just finishing up the reservation and had just put in my CC info when I picked up the phone to call and get my son an appt. at the Dr. (if you don't call 1st thing you won't get in) so while i was speaking to them I saw the conf# and for some stupid reason instead of printing it I closed it out.
There is excuse except for lack of sleep! LOL! :confused3
 
I printed my confirmation screen because the last time I made a reservation during a feeding frenzy like yesterday it took about two days for the email to show up. But it did eventually get there.
 
I had an existing ressie when I called yesterday..was able to change my arrival date by one day and get FD!!:cool1: The CM said he would send an e-mail confirmation but nothing yet . I called last night and was able to use the IVR to confirm my ressie and the changes that were made :woohoo: The OCD , paper nut in me though is still waiting for an e-mail:surfweb:

same exact situation here (existing ressie, changed by 1 date, called first thing yesterday a.m.). I called yesterday afternoon and was told it could take up to 2 days to come. Still haven't received it!
 
I was just coming to post the same exact thing!!!

I made a new room-only reservation online yesterday at around 7:30 a.m. I've just passed the 24 hour mark and still no email:confused3.

I printed the confirm at the end of the booking process and was able to get back into the site twice to pull up the reservation while logged in. I'm sure it's okay but the paranoid worrier in me sure would like that email!!!:lmao:
 
I'm in the same boat. Called yesterday to change an existing reservation but still have not recieved email confirmation. I was able to look up the reservation using the confirmation number online and confirm my changes were made though. Does make me feel better that it's not just me. I thought maybe something was wrong with my reservation or something because I have not gotten an email.
 
I added FD yesterday to an existing reservation but when I look online my reservation shows up but nothing about the DP , should it say that somewhere on the reservation? I forget if it did last time. Of course no email yet either but that was to be expected.
 
24 hours later I never received one but I just plugged in my confirmation number and pulled it up that way
 
I can get my reservation pulled up online but there is nothing about the DP that I added when I called yesterday. Wondering if it wasn't added correctly?

Don't worry - for some reason, the dining doesn't show up on the online system, but that doesn't mean it's not in there. I think they just didn't provide a field for it on the online report. It is most likely still in your reservation. :thumbsup2

I also wouldn't worry about the lack of email - their system was so overwhelmed yesterday, I'm sure it missed things. I went ahead and paid off my package, never even got an on-screen confirmation or receipt, but when I look in the record it shows $0 due, so it worked. When they aren't so busy, call them and they'll send you another copy (maybe in the afternoon?).
 
Thanks Aroundtheriverbend....I just got my email right now with the updated FD added. yay!:thumbsup2 I can now breathe....at least for a minute, now I have to work hard and save money :rotfl: It did take a full 24 hours for me to get the email confirming the change.....just in case anyone else is still waiting. Now if only next August could come fast....:rolleyes1
 
It came!
While I was reading the boards this morning I kept checking my email and just as I was about to get off the computer and get something done around here I checked one last time and it was there!

ETA: Just got faked out -- had an email from Disney Destinations with the subject: Your Disney Vacation Magic Starts Now

Inside it says "Thanks for booking another magical Walt Disney World® vacation! We're thrilled that you're coming back in January." So they know we're coming, lol, just no confirm!
 
Got both the "Your Disney Vacation Magic Starts Now" and the invoice email today. I booked before 6 am Central time yesterday, and it was there by 3 pm today.
