Anyone mailed in YOMD entry?

I just read on a site that you can mail an entry form in for the YOMD prizes. Has anyone done this? Any luck?

I started mailing 6 entries a day out sometime in August. I did it every day for about 3 weeks, then was a little more sporadic with it. We haven't received anything yet, but I know other people on this board have had luck.

i sent in about 20 postcards, cut down to size and all, no response. i'm gonna get on a roll for the 2008 YOMD, i want that round the world trip!!

We won two lanyards. We've been sending in postcards for a year. We, too, are hoping for a big prize, like the lifetime passes!

My DH is very specific, so he had the cards cut down to the exact size requested by Disney. He also doesn't want to send cards every day, but every few days (in case they get doubled up by the P.O.)

BTW: Both lanyard winners so far were children. Coincidence?

I've sent in probably close to 100 postcards and have won a set of dream ears.

To enter, send a 3.5" x 5" postcard to:

Elmhurst IL 60126

On the back, put your name, full address, daytime telephone number and birth date.

It's easiest (and cheapest) to get the pre-stamped cards from the USPS - but they are a little too big, so to really comply with the size rule you need to cut them down. Some people have reported that they have won without doing this, but I always do it just in case.

The address for next year's contest will be different - and they've apparently gotten rid of the "postcard" restriction - the new rules say "piece of paper or postcard" with no mention of size.
