Anyone made it to the new star traders yet?

I heard that in order to access Star Traders (now called something different??) you have to finish the space suit magic quest. Is that true? If so, what is for sale under specials?

I am guessing, and ONLY guessing that they will have something good in specials since it's so much work to get there. (maybe rockets?)

Can anyone confirm this rumor?

You can buy the kiosk to make ur own quest.And it is now called Inner Space.

I can confirm there was something special in specials it cost 20,000 credits is supposedly not tradeable. I did get there by following a friend who was following a friend who was following a friend (guess you can guess that last persons name.) I did buy the item as I was told it would be very limited - I am told it generats your own quests. no idea They closed fast after I arrived so i tried to tell some friends to come buy it ... sorry if you missed it. While visiting yavn he took me to too new areas that are only accessible after completing the diving, driving and space quests.

Once you complete the space quest you can fly in your red space suit and then enter a rocket which takes you into a white space area where you are instantly dressed into a colored space suit, mine was red. From there you enter another space rocket which takes you into the "Special" Star Traders.

There is a surprise in there, wont spoil it but I am sure it wont be long before someone posts pictures. Its great!

The lucky few (there was a bug that allowed others to follow me without going through the process) who followed me into this room were able to buy the quest generator for a whopping 20,000 credits!! Yavn said, better buy them quick, they will be rare. I, unfortunately, did not have enough credits.

While we were in there yavn did his car magic which I have to say is very very cool. His car was green.

"Buy them quick"? Well, that is an interesting comment considering that many guests cannot even get in right now, much less get through all the necessary quests.

Do you know if we are talking about a day, the rest of the week, or what? There are a lot of guests who can't spend all day every day in VMK so I hope the whatever is at least available through the weekend so everyone has a chance at it. If it is 20,000, that alone is going to keep it fairly rare.

I will ask him next time I see him for more details on the "rare" comment. I am not sure if he meant because they are so expensive and not easy to get to (have to complete the quests) or perhaps only a limited amount will be released. I will post when I get the answer to that.

And...I was in that room and the cost prevented me from buying so you should think about the price before you finish your space quest if you are interested in buying one just in case they are only available for a short time.

Well, I did not mean to sound cranky as I know Yavn and his crew are very busy right now. It was very kind of him to give you a tour. I was just trying to see ahead a few days when, hopefully, the slowness issues will be addressed and VMK will be playable for the average guest who can't play during the quieter time of the day due to school or work. I would hope that the whatsis is at least available during the "Quest Month" or for a week or two.

Well I would like one but I don't think it is worth 20,000 credits. I talked to someone that bought one, first you have to shell out the 20000, then you have to load in prizes for other people to collect, and you get nothing in return but a hole in your pocketbook. I only have 28,000 credits and I'm, saving it for something better.
