Anyone made it through (or not made it through) ROFR recently? - Section II

We were notified that we passed through ROFR yesterday 6-5-08.
Our contract is at VWL for 170 points, w/ 66 banked 07 points
price: $80.00 a point.
The only problem is that we have to wait until the fall to close. Nevertheless, progress made...
 
Just found out yesterday we passed ROFR, we are so excited! The details: 210 pts BCV (Oct UY), $89/pt, 224 pt in 2008, 210 pt in 2009, buyer/seller share 2008 MF, buyer pay closing fee. Hoping to close soon, I don't understand why some have to wait until fall. Thanks for maintaining the list!
 
Got an email from Jaki last night. Disney passed on our 100pt BWV add on - it took just over two weeks to clear ROFR. :woohoo:

Jaki says the Mouse is running way behind and it will be 2-3 before our information goes to the closing company.

Some sellers have trips that they don't want to cancel, and so the closing is postponed until after the trip. That could be one reason for the wait to close.

Only been 11 days for us and still no word. I am getting antsy! We contracted on 150 points at VWL. Submitted on May 30th and still waiting on ROFR. :(

We finally closed today. Whooo hoooo!! We went to ROFR on April 1st just to give you an idea. We purchased on HHI and S. Carolina now requires the use of an attorney - I am sure that contributed to the delay by adding a step to the process.

Yep! This is our getaway, just the two of us! I know we will add on some more points somewhere down the line. The Marriott's are terrific but I think we are going to love the flexibility of DVC's point system.

WOOHOO!! we just received our waiver of ROFR from Disney on our VWL contract!

Details are:
150 pts, Aug UY, All 150 pts in 2008, and going forward. $80/pt and seller to pay closing costs! Buyer to pay 2008 MF's. ROFR requested 5/30/08, waived 6/11. TTS and we were already members.

We officially are going to be 450 pts owners!!! WOOHOO!!!
