Anyone love the Garden Grill?

We ate at the GG on our last trip and we thought it was "OK". I really liked the novelty of the rotating restaurant and the character interaction was fantastic, but the food was only mediocre.

I'm glad we went there once but I'm not sure we'll go back anytime soon.

We like it. The food is good and the character interaction is great. Plus it is cool to see the top side of the boat ride attraction, Living with the Land while you slowly rotate around.:cool2:

We're thinking of getting an ADR here- maybe for our first night- to give our girls (5 and 2) a chance to meet Mickey and friends. I thought they might like the novelty of a revolving restaurant. I also was considering a Chef Mickey breakfast, but if we do the Garden Grill, I might try for 1900 Park Fare for breakfast instead. I'm not expecting gourmet, but is the food yummy enough for us to try it out?

I hate to say it, but when we went to GG, we didn't really like the food and the waitress was so unattentive, I didn't want to leave any tip. The catfish, was scary looking, and only Chip and Dale visited our table. For the $100 we spent, we'd definitely would go elsewhere. I'd say the Akurshun (Spelling?) Restaurant in Epcot. They have the princesses and for breakfast and dinner was a great way to meet all the princesses and a decent meal.

We had the puff pastry. The kids' sides to their cupcakes looked more attractive. It was not our taste.

We ate at GG last August, we loved the characters and thought the food was pretty good. My DD even requested this as her restaurant for our upcoming trip this year, and she is a very picky eater.

We went there last August and we really enjoyed it. We all loved the fact that the food was brought to us, no missing characters while at the buffet. And we thought that the food was rather tasty, some of the items we had two or three plates of.

The character interaction was great!! Each character came around at least 2 times while there and Chip (or Dale, I always forget which is which) stopped and played with dd for quite a while.

DON'T do it! LOL. We really did not like it. We said that most of the food was inedible (and we're not picky). We ended up eating off our kids plates.
