Anyone love Florida so much after vacationing there they move to Florida?

We have been in the Orlando area for only a month (tomorrow)

We love the East Coast and knew that we would always move here once we retired. Then Dh got a job that allowed him to move anywhere in the USA we wanted.....so we took the leap, sold our house, and moved to the Windermere area

So far we are LOVING the weather!

There are some not so great schools in some of the "best" districts. It is good to look at individual schools also, not just the district. My son attends Celebration k/8 in Osceola county. We LOVE it! It's an A school in the district. We were thinking of moving to lake county a couple years ago, they have a good district, but some of the elementary schools we looked at we're not that great.

We visited Celebration when they were breaking ground back in the late 90's. I wanted to move there during that first visit, all that was there were drawings and a model of the town. Couldn't make the move possible due to DH job. Still visit there during our vacations to Florida and considering relocating there. What is your experience living there?

It's been great, I really love it here. 13 years this month my son is in school here and we love it, great people, great weather, I honestly cannot say anything bad about it.

We have lived away from Florida for 4 years and have been waiting to get back. My husband finally has a job offer he has expected which takes is back to our original area. We are VERY excited. After 2 cool Virginia summers (save a hot day once or twice), it will take some immersion to get used to Florida summers again. But I tolerate heat so much better than cold and ice. The latter makes me cry.

We will miss our friends. But I would prefer a not cold winter over a not hot summer. . I do not like bundling up or 3 months of dry, cracked, bleeding hands.
