With 800K to play with for a four-bedroom, I'd still look at Teaneck, South Orange/Maplewood, Millburn, and also Madison, Chatham, Summit, Kinnelon (especially if you want land), Montville (easy shot to Ft. Lee), and Franklin Lakes/Wyckoff.
