Anyone know when SWA opening new flights?

Not sure what was going on with PVD but it was $1200 for 3 people RT for Saturday to Saturday on April school vacation while BDL was only $850 for almost the same times. Very unusual as we go that same week every year and PVD is almost always cheaper. Booked BDL. MHT was even cheaper but we had never flown out of there before so we stuck with the known entities.

Would've been even $30 cheaper but lost that just switching back and forth to check prices...wow things move fast and there's no time to ponder a decision!

We had initially booked the BLT Sunday April 19th thru Friday the 24th but the flights for those particular days (out of PVD) were OUTRAGEOUS this morning!! Even trying various combos.....seems Fri,Sat, Sun, and even Monday's are CRAZY!! I was hoping to avoid missing school, but to save at least $600, we'll be flying out mid-vacation week and coming home the Tuesday after instead.
Also, we were only able to get MKV for the first 3 nights, and BLV for the last three....waitlisting and hoping we don't have to move rooms!!:worship:

It looks like they have changed the release date to December 17, 2014!! This is from their web site::confused3

Flight Schedules
On December 17, 2014, we will open our schedule for sale through August 7, 2015. (Date is subject to change; please check back frequently.)

You can use the form below to search and view timetables for flights through Apr 06, 2015.
As you have probably figured out by now, when they extend their schedule, (as they did today for those traveling through Apr 6 2015), they also update the message on their website about the next schedule release date, in this case for travel through August 7, 2015.

Notice that the last line of that announcement states:
You can use the form below to search and view timetables for flights through Apr 06, 2015.
In other words, they were confirming that as of today you can book travel through April 6, 2015. They did not change today's release date.

I was only able to book 1 way for $708 for 3 of us out of Providence, leaving on a Sunday. All wanna fly flights are unavailable. Hoping they decide to open some up. How easy is it to get to Manchester from RI? We could drive up the day before and stay at a hotel and take an early flight. Thanks.

Sorry to hear....:(:

I watched this morning....in the blink of an eye those Sunday "wanna get away" flights disappeared!

I hope they open up for you!! I've never flown out of Manchester so I can't help .....hopefully someone else canl!!:thumbsup2

Wondering on opening day, do they just start with very few flights? Looking for flights from MSP to MEM after our cruise, and all they listed was a 6 am flight ( I'm thinking the previous international flight will make it hard to get up at 4am), and then a 6:30 flight landing at almost midnight...:scared1: Price wasn't bad $160 one way, but can I expect more than just 2 flights? Will they add more? And is this a great rate for Msp? Any helps would be appreciated!:)

Got ours too! :goodvibes

A tad bit more than I paid last December BUT not bad.

4 RT w/EBCI = $980 out of Providence.

December 2013 was $860.

I'm not complaining though....JB prices have been CRAZY!
I like to get the times I want so I hate waiting to see if they drop at last minute.
If I can get it under a grand I'm happy.

Good luck everyone! :thumbsup2
I got the same non-stop fares for Spring Break '15 (minus the ECBI). I was initially bummed that BDL to MCO, and then TPA, started selling-out, but I ended up getting 4 RT tix from PVD (just an hour extra drive) for what it would have cost just to go down. I got lucky that I didn't book early because I probably wouldn't have looked at PVD otherwise (note to self: check PVD as well, initially).

BTW, any thoughts on where you're going to park at PVD?

For all of you that booked yesterday - double check flights today.

I forgot the schedule opened and didn't remember until around 8:30 and got stuck with some high costs.

For my PVD to MCO the flights cost me 61,293 points ($800). This morning I just double checked and WGA fares are open. I changed and got it down to 24,222 points ($402).

I'm happy to have those points back in my account!

Everyone double check!
