Im going in May and I am shocked how expensive airfare is, Im leaving out of the tri state area, so I can either leave out of philly, newark or atlantic city, does anyone know of any smaller airlines like jetblue or song that are maybe a little more unknown?

airtran is up and running
also think of leaving from allentown or wilkes barre. pa.?
www.hootersair.com $130
and www.allegiantair.com
is $60 and from ac spirit maybe avail.
They are way too far for us, I tried hooters air, they didnt have their schedule running either, I also learned they are a charter air so they can pretty much cancel on you when they want.
Prices are great for allegiant air, but too far away I guss Ill keep waiting on sw unless anyone knows of anything that flies from philly newark or ac

I have flown Spirit many, many times. We were booked on Spirit for our Spring Break trip and then all of a sudden Spirit canceled our flights saying they weren't making enough money on this route and would no longer fly there. Then it was a giant hassle to get my $ back. Seems they didn't want to release the funds. So after a few weeks I called my credit card company and they placed a freeze on the $. I had to call Spirit back AGAIN and after several days they credited me back the $. I will not be using them again anytime too soon.

Is Air Tran available from your city? We really like SW but are leaving in April. Finally gave up and booked 7 tickets with AT. It's hard to believe that we are almost at the 90 day mark and still no schedule. Personally, I'm relieved and booked for 84.00 each way with AT.

I tried airtran but they all have stops, and I dont mind paying a little extra for a non stop

I received an email from a SWA rep that said Dec.22.

I have always had the most success for non-stop flights from Philly for my Mother to come visit on US Air. Sometimes the day and time of day I put in is rather expensive, but there are alternate itinerary suggestions and I have never - at any time of the year (this past year) had to pay over $200 RT NS.

I may be off since I haven't looked into anything for the upcoming months, but I got her her at Thanksgiving for $116.

Since 2003 when I vacationed and then moved here, we have always used US Air, and I have always had an excellent on time record with them.

Our US Air flights have been great time-wise, but the staff hasn't been overlt friendly or accomodating. We felt they could care less!

The best experience we have had was with Ward Air and BA, followed by Air Canada then Delta and US Air and NWA would be on th ebottom when it comes to service.

Hi, For central standard time, exactly what time did the new SWA rates come out? Was it 10 am central or 11 am central? Just curious. THANK YOU!!! :)
