Anyone know what's happening in May??

Just checked my dates on the Universal website, as I have been for a while, May 17th-24th and now says the following:

We're sorry
Rooms are not available at any of the hotels at Universal Orlando for your requested dates

You may begin your search again using new dates or call us at 1-888-464-3617 if you wish to speak directly with a reservationist. We look forward to seeing you at our destination soon.

Has anyone had this before? Is there a conference or something on? I knew I should have booked when I had the chance

The whole Harry Potter thing is supposed to open this Spring. Could be related to that.

i just checked the thread "date and rate" that damo handles.

i see there is a booking by someone for May 2010.

that person also has the discounted AAA rate.


why don't you call and see if there are openings.


many times travel agencies book a group of rooms at the hotel to sell in their packages.

when those don't sell, they are re-released back to the hotel.
