Hey all! anyone have any idea what is going on with cards and quest after sept. 30? they say they all expire then and didnt know if anyone had any info on what is going on after that time.. me and my fam are going to WDW in the middle of october so i am hoping they have something going on!

All Quests items are not set to expire at the end of Sept 2006 only series 1. The current series 1 are set to expire then and it is my quess that when the new Pirates Quest comes out it will be series #3 because Series 1 and 2 are as follows, and with only three items left in series two not enough room for quest items....My feeling is all series 1 will expire and no more of those will be issued with a newer expiry date. Series Two expires 9-30-2007.

My Guess Is They Are Running Short Of Codes So They Expire some to use for new.... My only commet is this could be bad if people type in expired codes and get new items.....

I'm wondering about the PDFs awarded to high scores, etc.

We have quite a number from our playing over the past year, but our trip is not until Dec. and they all have the "expires Sept 30" fine print on them.

My guess is we are just out of luck.

The Tomorrowland quest has an expiration date of 12/31/05 and they are still accepting them. I would expect that the PDFs are no different. I also think they will continue to hand out the existing quest cards with dates of 9/30/06 until they are gone.

As with everything Disney tho' it's all subject to change. We won't *really* know until 9/30/06 at which point I'm sure half a dozen people will post on what's happening.

Actually, the reason all Quests end in September is so that they can make way for new quests as a part of Disney's "A Year of a Million Dreams" celebration, which begins October 1st.

It would be nice if VMK would address this. I like other people hold on to cards to trade the codes and if they are going to expire Sept 30 then on the 29th there will be a frenzy of code entering and trading as they will not be available again.

When the Tomorrowland quest expired VMK didn't say anything in advance but I think they did address it on the home page for a short time.

My biggest peeve with VMK is they don't give out enough information.
