anyone know the seating of SW?

This is our first Southwest flight and my kids are wondering what are the seating? I have 3 very excited girls about leaving next Sat & they NEED to plan who gets to sit with who!!!!!!!

There is no seating assignments. When you check in you are assigned one of 3 sections. A, B or C. the earlier you check in the better you will get. A boards first and then B and finally C. You pick your seats when you get on the plane. It's first come first server.

I guess I wasn't clear, I understand the boarding process, but how are the seats arranged? ex: 2 and 2 facing each other, or 3 in each side row... Thanks in advance!

You can get your boarding passes online exactly 24 hours before your flight. You really should do this or you might not get seating together even if you get there early. So, if your leaving Saturday, be sure to go to Southwest.com and do it tomorrow!

If you're staying at a Disney Resort, I think they can print boarding passes out for your return trip for you.

If you're not...you just have to get to the airport early or pray for a good boarding pass. However, getting an A pass really doesn't mean a lot unless you absolutely HAVE to be in a front seat... everyone has a choice of seats, the best seats can be after row 10!!!! You just have to wait a little longer to get off at your home airport.

I haven't done it myself yet, but from what I've been reading, you have to find a computer at your hotel.

It has been my experience that by the time the C's board, it is hard to get 3 seats together.

We are staying at the Seraton Safari Hotel.We dont really care where we sit as long as we sit together.

The hotels I have stayed at, WDW and others, will print the boarding passes for you or they may have a busness center where you can print your own for a small fee. The WL printed ours for free last Dec..

Well then, be sure to print your departure trip from home and ask for help at the front desk of your hotel to print your return. Remember, 24 hours before the flight departure time and you shouldn't have any problems. Have fun!

Thanks, we haven't flown since the girls were very small. I am sure the hotel will help us. This is also the first trip with only girls, DH is staying home and we are taking DD best friend who has never been to WDW, I don't think she has ever been out of state. She is sooo excited and getting us worked up too!

Please prepare your children for the fact that not only might they not all be sitting together, but they could end up sitting alone.

Because the routes to Orlando are so full of families, it can be harder to get people to move around for you, they don't want to seperate from their family anymore than yours wants to be apart.
