anyone know the seating of SW?

Oh my gosh, I never even considered that. I thought if we got there a couple of hours before flight we would be sure to sit together. I had better talk to them, I can just see the tears!!!!!! :crazy2: :scared:

We are getting printed tickets from a TA, does that mean we can't check in until we arrive at the airport?

Not at all - you can still check in online 24 hours in advance. Doing so will most likely get you in the "A" boarding group; but still be prepared for:

Parties who preboard. Even though Southwest may limit this to small children and their immediate families, once on the plane they might well save seats for the rest of their respective groups; and

That your flight may have originated somewhere else (where are you starting from?) and there will already be passengers on the plane, somewhat spread out.

sorry to jump in here, but I have a question regarding southwest and online check in. Dh is flying out tomorrow to Detroit and I want to do the online check in for him. When you do the online check in, can you still check luggage or does it only apply to passengers with carry on only?

are you talking about printing out your boarding passes? if so, then yes, it applies to both - you can check your luggage and/or carry on. I've printed out my boarding passes at 12:01 a.m. and then checked my luggage with the skycaps. I never stand in line inside anymore!!! I check in with them and they let me know what gate to go to, then it's through security and to the gate we go!

Has anyone had relative at home checkin for their Southwest return flight? We can checkin at noon the day before the flight home. If I can have my son check us in from his computer at 24hrs ahead, can I have a cast member at POP print them when we get back to the hotel after the parks? I don't want to have to leave epcot to go back to POP for noon. Has anyone just checked in and not printed boarding passes? Or do you have to print them to be checked in? Any help with this would be welcomed. thanks!

Yes, you or someone else can check in for you and you don't need to print boarding passes. When the print screen comes up, just close the window.
We just did this last week for the return. We had our laptop, checked in and did not print. When you get to MCO they have kiosks where you can enter your confirmation numbers and it will bring up your boarding passes. You can also check in your luggage there too, very quickly.

Just make sure you have your confirmation numbers with you. If you're not sure where these kiosks just ask someone, let them know you already checked in.
