Hopefully someone out there has stayed at Marriott before with a toddler & can let me know if they have high chairs and if so, do they have straps to keep them in. I have booked a cot (just hoping that she will sleep in it!) but I don't think I could do without a high chair too.

Yes, they do. Just ask at reception and they will bring it to your house.

Let me know if you have anymore questions. You will love the Marriott.

Hi Tonya

Thanks for letting me know. It will make life alot easier & my luggage lighter!

I read your thoughts on your trip & have to say that I agree with your comments on the food at DLRP. This is why I wanted to stay at Marriott so I can cook some meals. Also table service restaurants this time may be quite difficult with our baby (who will be 17 mths) as I know she won't stay sitting for long so we won't be able to enjoy our meal & neither will anyone around us!

I have thought of another question. I read somewhere (maybe it was tripadvisor) that they give you dishwasher tablets & powder for the washing machine. Is this true? Is there any washing up liquid? Are there teatowels? Is there a cloth for wiping the table & counter tops etc? Is there a sharp knife? Is there a freezer (so I can freeze some dinners for the baby & won't have to cook every day)?

Hope you can help me & thanks. If I think of any others, I'll let you know.

Did you use the indoor swimming pool? How deep is it? Just want to know if I need armbands for my 6 yr old as she won't be able to swim out of her depth, but doesn't need them in shallow water. Do you know what is in the playroom (my kids are 6 yrs & 17 mths) as I think we may spend more time than usual out of the parks this time, or split up with one of us staying at home sometimes with the baby.

That's all for now.

Hello again,

We chose the Marriott as our friends were going with their two children. They have a 10 month old and their daughter is almost 5 like my son. They had their on villa two doors from ours.

It was nice to have breakfast at home since the parks don't open until 10. We were able to buy fresh bread in pastries each morning and on our first day we went to the AUCHAN at Val d'Europe to get fresh goods we didn't bring with us.

Everything you asked for is there. You get one or two dishwashing tablets a day. You will also have two laundry (Ariel) tablets which will be in a basket with 4 teabags, a few sugars, two coffee filters and filter coffee. There is a note that you can buy these items in the shop. There is one tea towel and I am pretty sure there was a sponge. I never did any washing up (popped all our breakfast dishes in the dishwasher. There is a full size fridge/freezer - so bring your frozen goodies for the baby. Off the kitchen there is a utility room with the washer and dryer, broom, etc. There is a sharp knife, a bread knife and a carving knife. They really have thought of everything.

We didn't use the pool, but I had a quick look as I passed by. I am not sure of the depth. I will have a look in the stuff I brought home. I took my son's float suit, but we just never had enough time to swim. The play room is excellent. There is a small soft play area and loads of toys. There are also organized activities for all ages throughout the day and you should be given a timetable when you check-in. If not just ask for one.

Also, there is FREE internet in the villa if you need it. I needed to it from time to time so it came in handy.

I'll check the information I have on the pools and get back to you. :goodvibes
