I hate these annoying little bugs! they're microscopic little things that can really get thru any crack or window or anything and they like moisture. We have a quarterly bug guy come for just routine spray and he did a special spray for them in the windows but he said they're hard to get rid of and will be back. A couple days later, they're back. They don't bite or do anything and if you werent looking for them, you might not see them, but they're on the walls in my kids room, and in the bathroom etc. Not a ton...I normally see like 2-3 at a time, but still annoying! Anyone have this issue and know how to eliminate them?

I have them too, but on my baseboards in my bedroom only. Not too many, just a few. I spray them with alcohol and they go away for a little while. I've read online to spray something outside but I've never had them bad enough.

Never noticed anything like that. Not even sure what you are talking about. Now I will be inspecting the house looking for them.

I'm highly allergic to them. At one time, before microscopes were invented, they were thought to be parasites.

You have to treat the OUTSIDE of the house. The mulch, landscaping, etc.

I had monthly treatments to get them under control and then went back to quarterly. You could try some of the pest control granules along the foundation.

I have a lot of experience with pest control and you really have to start monthly...I've never had any success with quarterly. You also need a good company who targets specific pests with different chemicals and doesn't just spray some multi-purpose thing around the house.

I have them too, and last year was the last straw. Every night last summer there were like 5-10 on my ceiling. You have to treat the outside. They live in the soil and migrate when their numbers become too many. They prefer areas of moisture, mulch, leaves, cracks in the foundation, etc. I started putting out pesticides early this year because of the warm weather, and so far so good (fingers crossed). I also have my gutters cleaned 4 times a year. I just bought another bag of granules, and will be putting it out this week. Make sure your yard is clear of any and all debris! Leaves are a major culprit because they hold in moisture. If they are in your house it is because the numbers outside are very large, they migrate as the population grows so focus on the outside. I've read that Bifen granules work best. Read a little more online, and remember: Clean your yard of all debris, especially by the house. They love moisture so if you put out pesticides, focus on areas around the house that don't get as much sun, and stay moist. They are such nuisances, good luck!

I've had them come out of the drains. My pest control guy to blld me to periodically put bleech down the drain.
