Anyone know how grad. night affects the parks?

We have heard that there is a graduation night on the weekends of April 23rd/24th and also April 30th/May 1st. Does anyone know how this might affect crowds or if any of the parks are closed early for this or any other information about it? We are still trying to decide on dates for our trip and we wanted to avoid these weekend if everyone thought that we should.

They only close the MK early for the GradNites and that is usually at 7 or 8 so there might not be any fireworks on those nites. Another thing is if you are staying in any of the MK resorts, you might hear the music from the park and that goes really late so remember that for when you are picking a resort. Usually the seniors aren't in the parks during the day so its not like it is super crowded b/c of them.

I actually attended my Gradnite in 2000. They DO close the park at around 8 ish for day guests.The BUS loads of seniors wait in a kinda back entrance to go through the metal detector and such,meanwhile,day guest are usually all gone by this time.Around 10pm the seniors enter and the party begins!!! My class they had 2 stages for concerts(LOUD!!)
And the 3rd stage was the one in tomorrowland and that was turned into a sorta "club" (LOUD,LOUD,LOUD!!!!).
However,they wouldn't have it if you couldn't sleep through the music.So,don't be leary to go.Have fun whatever you decide.
