I tried to search the forum to see if anyone knows of bad/noisey rooms in Cat. 6 or above, but could not find anything. If anyone knows please reply! I have a cat. 6 gty and after reading a thread about unwanted upgrades, I got nervous.

THANKS!

From my travels, category 6 and above are all great rooms. Haven't noticed any bad ones. However going from a 10 to a 9 category is not as assured. It can make a difference on what deck you like to be on.

Cabin 6588 can get noisy sometimes due to the laundry room across the hall. When a line forms waiting to use the irons and machines the folks in line can get a little chatty!

We were in 6556 and it was HORRIBLE!!! I couldn't sleep due to the noise and during the day it sounded like hammering. Our stateroom host also thought it was loud, we grabbed him one night to make sure we weren't nuts. We were told a high pressure waterline runs under this stateroom and when it's turn on it creates this noise. We eventually were moved. I'd stay away from this stateroom!

Thanks to everyone who replied. Anyone else have bad rooms in cat. 6 or above?

Yuk!!! We just got upgraded to 6556 from 2010. I will make sure I pack some ear plugs. I'm a very light sleeper.

Uh Oh! That's our cabin! Everything I had read on here about that one sounded good. Anyone else have a bad experience in that cabin?
