Just made a ressie for my mom there - DH, 2 preschoolers and I are camping at Ft Wilderness and Grandma is not interested in staying there with us. camping is not her idea of a vacation. CRO suggested the Woods view as it is quieter and the rooms are more in demand as well as less expensive.

Also does $877 sound like a good deal for 4 nights with pass for one person? After pricing other resorts and other things without discounts, it sounded really good to me.

Thanks!

I LIKE Grandma's style!!!! The rate sounds pretty good.I'd go for it. WL is a very nice hotel...very serene and restful. A woods view would probably be very pretty.I have heard(although have no personal experience)that a pool view can be noisy. The one time we stayed there, we got a FANTASTIC rate...the only drawback was our view was of the smokehouse:eek: !!! Didn't matter...we don't spend a ton of time in the room, and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

WL is another fab resort!

And...I think that all the rooms are good.

(even those "smokehouse" rooms aren't that bad!);)

The resort itself will make up for it!

The rate seems pretty good since it includes a pass for one person.
AP rate would be better.....

Maybe something to look into!:)

The Wilderness Lodge is.....ahhhhhhh. Hands down the most wonderful resort on site! We have been several times and hope to go several more! It is having the best of both worlds....the excitement of WDW when you want it, and the serenity of the WL as well. You cannot go wrong! Bet you leave saying you will stay there next time!;) Have a great trip!

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge its opening week and simply "loved" the place. Found ourselves sitting in the lobby -- watching all the vacationers enter and be awed by the lobby. I think you and your Mom will really enjoy it.

We're staying at the WL the first week of may, and our price for the 6 nights Woods View (with 12% tax) is $967. Have you checked out the discount codes at http://www.mousesavers.com/disneyresorts.html

I don't know when you're going, but I know they are offering the $144 per night Woods View unti 6/22, but you have to book by 3/17.

We haven't stayed there yet, but went to dinner there last year and fell in love with the place. Can't wait.......7 more weeks!!

Have a great trip!!
