Anyone know about the Raddison in Cape Canaveral 59$ deal?

I stayed at the radisson for a cruise in May and paid 59$ for a "fall promo" rate and we had "free parking" the length of our cruise.

We would like to do this again, however, I have forgotten the rate code to use. Does any one know the rate code for this promotion?

Also, it was a hassle not having the car after the cruise, you had to wait (in the heat) for the van to pick you up and they don't come until 10:00 am. It didn't bother us too much but there were several people who were angry around us. Just an FYI for anyone else who may do this.

The code I used was FALL - but I heard it does not work anymore - try it and see

My AAA suggested that we stay at the Radisson on the night before departure and she booked me rooms for $99 each. I since then discovered these boards and saw were they were offering a promotion for the fall. I called and they asked me the magic word and it was FALL and I could have gotten the rooms for $59. The lady suggested that I get one two-bedroom suite for $99 instead and boy was I happy.
Try it and tell them you want the FALL promotion.:D

Was capacity based. We got 1 night on reserve for $59 and there were no more available. I noticed people not being able to get the $59 but, about a month ago I had to get a second night as our flight into Florida had moved up a day. I was able to secure the $59 for the Thursday night as well, although now I have 2 seperate reservations because I don't want to cancel the Friday night one because they aren't showing any available on that day. I'll just call to have them linked.

Currently the FALL special nets you a $79 rate. Which is still pretty decent.

Ok I just tried the fall code and it does indeed net me a $79 rate. It does not mention anything about parking on this page. I can get a "cruise parking" package for $109.00.

Can I get the $79 and still park there during the cruise?

I tried to get the rate for FALL and was able to only get the 99$ quote. But I will keep trying for the 59$ rate.

Thanks for giving me the call letters!!!

In May we were able to Park for free!!!!!! the length of our cruise with complimentary (still tip!) transport to the port. It was really a money saver and a nice resort for us.

Not only did I print out the roomsaver coupon, I went to the mousesavers site and got a code that saved me an extra 15 dollars. I think the car was 37 dollars.

Ok I just tried the fall code and it does indeed net me a $79 rate.

I just called the Radisson today (8/31) and asked for two rooms at the "FALL" discount rate. The $59/night is apparently gone. I was quoted $79/night for each room. Amy, the customer rep, did mention though that there was a 1 bedroom suite special using the "FALL" code. I booked that instead for the night of Sat, Nov 2, 2002. It was $99/night and we get 2 king beds, a jacuzzi tub, and a pull-out "full" size sleeper in the living room---along with a small kitchenette area. We have 3 adults and 3 kids so this will work out fine.

The lady suggested that I get one two-bedroom suite for $99 instead and boy was I happy.

Timswoman, may I ask, what time of the year this is for ? I was quoted $99 for a 1 bedroom suite, but you mentioned you got a 2 bedroom suite ? Thanks.

The Rad has the Standard room and the "suites". The Suites are one bedroom. But, you can get it with either 1 king or 2 king beds. We booked this last fall.......the rooms are large. No romance here though.......The jacuzzi tub sits right in the bedroom with both beds. The kids had a kick sitting in it in their swimsuits and there were "WAY" less mosquitos.
There is a living room with Hideabed couch and a kitchen area with small refrigerator and a microwave. It had a dining table, sink, and plates and silverware for I believe 4 people. We were there a few days early so kept milk and juice in the fridge for the kids and I took a couple of boxes of Microwave Popcorn. The popcorn worked great for Munchies with our new "DIS" friends by the pool.

Our room is reserved for October 12, 2002. The time of the year may make a difference.
