Sorry if this is OT--but we'll be in San Antonio end of March and would like to visit Sea World. Problem is we can only go on day we leave. Wondering--how much time can a family reasonably spend at SW, and would the visit be worthwhile if we went from about 10 a.m. (when it opens) til about 3 p.m.?
Thanks! :flower:

Although it has been a few years since we have visited SeaWorld in San Antonio we have found that you really need 2 days. It was difficult to see all the shows we wanted to in one day--the park is fairly spread out and the shows are timed really close together. IMHO, you could probably see a couple of shows and spend a couple of hours elsewhere in the park in the time frame you are thinking about. I see you are planning to go in late March-I checked the website and they are only open on Friday-Sunday the last 2 weeks in March---I don't know if that will have any effect on your decision. We went to Seaworld Antonio a year ago in May. It depends how much you want to do. This SeaWorld is unique in it has a waterpark inside the park. So to reasonably see the shows and exhibits as well as do the waterpark you would need more than a day. If you just wanted to see the shows and exhibits and skip the swimming area, than I think it could be done. It just depend on how much you want to do. :confused3 It was a great park and my kids enjoyed it.

I live in SA a good part of the year. It really depends on what you want to do while at SW as to how long you will need. I really feel that you can get an awful lot out of SWSA in your allotted time frame. Depends on age of group, rides vs shows, etc. My girls and I often go for 6 hours or so and are more then ready to go by 3 or so and feel as if we have done a lot of the park that day.

As with all parks...be there before it opens!
